From September to November, the autumn leaves gradually descend from the mountains to the villages in Shinshu. You can enjoy autumn scenery unique to each location, including Hakuba Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and plateaus to see the autumn foliage. When you come back, relax in the sauna and water bath. In the evening, enjoy a BBQ and the starry sky while spending a peaceful time in the countryside. This is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, so it is recommended not only for family and group trips, but also for couples and small groups staying for multiple nights. Convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer for a comfortable extended stay. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult in advance. October and November are the seasons when you can enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. We recommend staying for multiple nights and taking a leisurely trip to explore the different autumn landscapes of Hakuba, Kamikochi, Azumino, and other areas.

The cottage is located on the banks of the clear Marukawa River. Gifu is famous for Shirakawago and Hida Takayama, but Enbara is also a nice place in the mountains, although it is inconvenient. The scenery of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a place rich in nature where monkeys and deer appear. The Enbara River is known as the most beautiful underground water in Japan and a famous spot for its light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of the underground water, so the water transparency is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On summer mornings, depending on the weather conditions, you can see a magical view of the sunlight pouring through the trees. The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off. A little downstream there are several river play spots, and the water is clear everywhere and it feels good to swim beautifully. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience.
