Located on top of Rumassala in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood, Agnus Unawatuna offers a peaceful escape away from the busy city. Two beaches are close by — Jungle Beach, a 10–15 minute walk, and Unawatuna Beach, just 10 minutes by tuk tuk, with lively bars, restaurants, and water sports.

Unawatuna, Sri Lanka

The Agnus Luxury Villa is located about one hour and a half from Colombo in a town called Unawatuna. Its right on top of a mountain called Rumassala.Its a fairly easy drive on the expressway.

Rumassala is a mountain which is in Unawatuna which has a famous beach with lots of restaurants and bars. Unawatuna is a 10 minute drive.

Closer to the villa there is a beach called the Jungle Beach its about 10-15 min walk. Its usually quiet but can get busy during the weekends. Its quite nice and secluded.

Both places (specially Unawatuna) offers a lot of activities. Snorkeling, boat rides, diving and many more.

The main town Galle is also about a 10 minute drive and has an old dutch fort. It’s a world heritage listed site.

Inside you again have museums, restaurants, bars and its a great place to walk around and explore as its got a lot of history.

If you want to venture a little bit more towns like Mirissa ( about and hours drive from Galle) which is famous for whale watching where you can see the worlds largest animal, the blue whale.
