THE HOUSE

Ker Amice ( La Maison des Amice in Breton, a small nod to our origins) is a 3 bedroom guest house located in the between two seas in St Loubès , 10 km from Bordeaux and 25 km from St Emilion.

It is the perfect base for visiting the Bordeaux region.

The house functions as a very small hotel, with a separate entrance and individual access to your room, comfortable and very well-equipped rooms.
I am Valérie and I will welcome you to the house to show you the house, how it works and give you my favorite places.

Then I am discreet and always available for you if you need it.

ROOMS

Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own atmosphere but each has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and/or bathtub, separate toilet, a private wooden terrace, a garden and a heated SPA in season (from April to September)

BREAKFAST

Homemade gourmet breakfasts are INCLUDED IN the ROOM RATE.
They are dropped off every morning between 8:30am and 10:00am in front of your door in a "picnic" basket.
We'll agree together on the time you'd like to have lunch at the time of your check-in.

Each room is equipped with an indoor table and/or sitting area, garden furniture on the terrace. It's up to you to choose where you want to enjoy your breakfast.
Each room also has a coffee bean machine for great coffee and a courtesy tray with tea, cupcakes...

SHARED KITCHEN

An equipped kitchen (induction hobs, microwave, fridge and dishes) is at your disposal throughout your stay.
You can use the fridge to store your fresh produce if needed.
The kitchen is a common area for the 3 bedrooms to share, you will also find a dining area.
These spaces are free to use all day if you want to prepare a snack or if you want to have lunch or dinner "at home".

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

In order to protect the environment, I limit the production of waste:
- BRITA carafes available in every room.
- Grain coffee makers in every bedroom
- Glass containers for breakfasts

Board games, tourist documentation, and magazines are available in the living room and in your bedroom.

Guest access
During your stay, you will be able to freely use the summer terrace if you wish; the common kitchen and the small living room are shared spaces with other guests.

Other things to note
Bottles of wine, beer, soft drinks and fruit juices are for sale at reasonable prices in the kitchen.

I also offer cheese/cold meat boards to share for €20 that you can enjoy in your room.

Former administrative framework in professional retraining and passionate about travel, I wanted to create the guesthouse KER AMICE in order to be able to welcome guests from different backgrounds.

I wanted this warm and friendly house so that everyone could feel "at home."
Homemade breakfast is served in your room; a "picnic" basket will be dropped off every morning at your door.
The communal kitchen, the small adjoining living room as well as the outdoor terrace remain common spaces conducive to interaction between guests. A little like the hostels that I particularly love.
