This cozy cabin is located in Crawford County, Michigan, known for its military & State owned land. 60% of the county is available for recreation including ORV and snowmobile trails, XC skiing, kayaking, biking and hiking. The cabin is surrounded by ORV and snowmobile trails. It is centrally located in the northern part of the lower peninsula for easy day trips to areas such as Mackinac Island and Traverse City. Higgins lake, with a small beautiful beach is just a 5 minute drive from the cabin.

Calling groups who love the outdoors in all seasons! A perfect spot for groups with lots of space inside and out. We have 3 dining areas (1 outside), 2 living rooms and a "bunkhouse" with a TV to send the kids up to play! The house is fully stocked with bath & beach towels plus everything you need in the kitchen. Plus...cornhole, 2 stand up paddleboards, 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, a row boat and a splash pad! NEW in fall 2024: we've added a new dining table for ten, new mattresses and new bedding!

Enjoy all the lake has to offer in this adorable lake front cabin with amazing views! Watch the sunrise from the kitchen while you sip a cup of coffee. The sunsets from our beach can’t be beat. The beach is sandy with no sea wall & perfect for swimming! The beach and dock are shared with 3 other cabins. If you plan to bring a watercraft please inquire about space before booking or ask about our pontoon rental! If you need more than one cabin we may have another available. Inquire by message.

Iroquois Lakeview -steps from the lake!

Welcome to our cozy cottage just across the street from Houghton Lake! Enjoy the nicest street on the lake, with lake views from the living room, dining room/kitchen, & the additional family room. Enjoy a glass of wine watching sunset from the large front deck and Amish seating. Lake access is a block away. Small boats may launch there. ORV trailhead is very close (we ride to the trailhead from the cottage), plus snowmobile trails, and state land. Public boat launch under 3 miles away.

Nice ranch with Houghton Lake at the end of the street. Access to launch a small boat. DNR launch close by. Property is on Devonshire which is the access road for the ORV trails. Trails are 1/2 mile down the street. Large fenced in yard with fire pit, BBQ and swing set. Great for kids. Boating, trail riding, hunting or just relaxing this is it. Sheets and towels included. Well water. Please note we have security cameras to monitor outdoor house access. Our cleaning staff is top notch.

Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, not a party place. Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Rustic Log Cabin known as the Snowshoe Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in the north woods. Cabin has 2 twin size beds in the loft and a full size bed on main floor. Includes Kitchen table and chairs and a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and a crockpot. There is a bathhouse on site with hot showers and bathrooms. Close to ATV/Snowmobile Trails and you can ride from your site. You will need to provide your own bedding, pillows, towels, cooking utensils and shower items

Cousin Cottage

Kick back and relax in this tranquil, stylish space. Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit (with plenty of wood) and outdoor dining space. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need (small appliances, pots & pans, utensils, etc). Dining table with family games. Right across the street from the lake on the south shore. Located within walking distance to restaurants, stores, ice cream shop, etc. Half a block lake access for ice fishing and snowmobiling. No pets please.

Higgins/Houghton Lake, Bonfires, Peaceful, Boating

This cottage is nestled on a fully wooded, half acre lot making it a perfect place for summer night bbq's and bonfires. House offers plenty of parking for your boat/trailer/toys and is 5 mins from South State Park, Marl Lake, Dollar General, The Barn, and the famous Nibbles Ice Cream. Property is within walking distance to Redwood Golf Course and Markey Township Park. Newly remodeled with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a large screen flat TV for movie night.
