Hovden offers fantastic natural surroundings and numerous activities year-round, including hiking, bike trails, hunting and fishing, swimming, downhill skiing, and an extensive cross-country ski trail network, as well as an ice rink, a golf course, and a shooting range (clay pigeons). There is a large water park/fitness center in the city center.

Beautiful handcrafted log cabin at Haukeli with Ski in/out from Haukelifjell Skisenter. At 970 m above the ocean, the snow is guaranteed in the winter, and beautiful hikes start 20m from the door. 18 beds- unable to update from 16 persons due to Airbnb limitations :-) You drive all the way to the main entrance door. Very cozy family cabin close to fishing waters, shops, ski slopes etc. Directly in great hiking terrain and 200m from the trail network to Hovden. Road all the way to the door with parking for 4 cars. The cabin is located in a quiet cabin area 5 km south of Hovden city center. The cabin has plenty of space inside and a lot of space outdoors with its own fire pit and 2 seating areas. Bed linen can be rented for NOK 150 per person on request.
