Cabin holiday rentals in Hovden

We had a wonderful holiday cabin of J. and M.. Even before we arrived, we felt welcome and very well informed by J. and M.. Both hosts responded to messages within a very short time and recommended, for example, dreamy hiking in the vicinity. Upon arrival at the residential area, Jonas quickly let us open the barrier. Through the key safe, we could easily and easily get into the cabin. There was everything you need for a relaxing and very comfortable holiday: the kitchen is fully equipped with high quality dishes, good wine glasses and pots. Even a food processor, a kitchen scale, a waffle iron and baking molds are available. In addition, there is a robot vacuum cleaner. A cell phone is located in the cottage, which allows you to open the barrier on your own. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are furnished to a high standard. The jacuzzi on the terrace is an absolute highlight.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location. A good place for families. You can find everything you need. Excellent communication. Definitely recommend. 💯

the house had everything it is stated on the site, well equiped for a big group. the house has parking space for only 2/3 cars, we had to park in a nearby empty cabin. we were suprised that no wood was present on premisses. it was the first time we rented a cabin without wood. the house it self does not need it, it was warm enough, but we had to take a quick run to the supermarket to buy wood for the hot tub, it was not far but it would have been nice to know in beforehand. we also did not find butane for the pizzaovn. the slopes are only a couple meters from the cabin. we enjoyed the stay and recommend.

Lovely cozy and tidy home in Rauland. clean and newly renovated, and you felt at home. The house has no TV so you really have time to enjoy the surroundings and each other's company - a big plus. well located with a 5 minute walk to the lift.

This was our second time here, always a lovely place to stay. We love the jacuzzi and also the peaceful location. A wonderful choice for a long weekend or a week.

An ideal place to relax – whether with friends, family, or as a romantic getaway. The cabin is beautifully equipped and has everything you could possibly need. The view from the hot tub on the terrace and the sauna adds a deep sense of peace and relaxation. My wife and I spent a truly wonderful time here – unforgettable moments of calm and comfort. To top it off, the house looks even better in real life than it does in the photos. Highly recommended!

Great house in a ski area but also during Summer time lots of quietness, hiking opportunities and awesome nature around. Definitely enjoyed our stay and communication with Svenn-Erik was superb! Thanks again

Beautiful cabin, perfect for a few days away from the city.

We had an amazing week with the extended family. What a great cabin with lots of room for big and small. To be all together and retreat and relax. And then the surroundings were absolutely amazing! We enjoyed beautiful cross-country skiing trails right outside the door! Thank you for a great stay

A gem that has to be experienced. Real seaters charm with lots of details that created a lovely atm, good old-fashioned cabin feel. Perfect location right by the ski slopes. Here we felt at home from the time we came in the door. The panel stove was turned on inside the bedroom so it was warm and warm when we arrived on a cold afternoon. Good with firewood in the stall and we got eventually heat in the living room. The kitchen contains everything you need and in the stall was also a new gas grill we used. The covered terrace located west facing was just perfect this sunny weekend. Øystein and Hanne were quick to respond. Here we will come back:)

A tip for travelers: this cozy cabin is a bit more off of the beaten path, so helpful to think ahead about meal planning as you may not be able to catch a grocery store or restaurant if arriving in the evening. We shopped ahead of time at a nearby town on a Sunday (only small shops are open that day). Ingeborg’s arrival instructions take you right to the cabin. There are several cabins surrounding the lake. It was windy, so we didn’t take the boat out but had a delightful time warming up in the sauna, which was a real treat after hiking in Norway. Travelers need to bring your own towels/linens and follow cleaning instructions to leave the place as you found it. We hiked the following morning at Kista and had meatballs afterward at the nearby restaurant, which was delightful.

We are very to have stayed here. So nice to connect to nature and enjoy this cabin house. So cozy with the fireplace and beautiful beams. The area is beautiful near a lake where we went on a little stroll with a wooden boat. Nice!!! Perfect place to read books take a swimm in the lake and hike. The centre of Fyresdal has a nice cafe Hvelvet. Good coffee and cinnamon rolls

Sunniva's place is great - even more cozy than in the pictures! We felt comfortable immediately and we didn't miss anything! I can only agree that there is a superbly equipped kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired! The fireplace and sauna were our highlight! We would book again and can definitely recommend the cabin! A great cabin to spend quality time with family and connect with nature. It’s a lovely place to stay, and the cabin was already warm and cozy when we arrived. We enjoyed organizing the space and absolutely loved it. Rhea is a kind and helpful host, making our stay even better.

Beautiful in the woods, you have to look for the hiking trails. Unfortunately for us, the previous guests had turned off the boiler.

A really cozy cabin, with everything you need. We had small children with us, there were some things that were not so child-friendly, a steep staircase, but I wanted to book it again, yes no doubt. Cute host. Very good place for cross-country skiing, the alpine is a little more difficult, as you have to drive 2 km of transport to a children's slope. Shopping opportunities are a bit far from the cabin. Quiet area, overlooking the mountains in the background, we felt like the only ones. Great recommendations from here.

Really nice cosy cabin! Perfect if you are traveling with baby or kids… they have everything! Wish we had longer than a one night stopover!

Really a very nice house with great amenities. Nice location, very clean and beautiful house . instructions on turning on the water and key collection were very clear. Please definitely look at the photos with Map route to the destination as Google maps does not seem to have the updated information on how to reach the place .

Very nice and tidy cabin. Here there is everything you need to spend a good winter holiday that we had. Plenty of space and lots of equipment that can be used. We would like this cabin to rent again. Good communication 👌 The only downside that we experienced was that the road down to the cabin was icy when we were there. Then had to park the car upstairs. But it went just fine too. Sprinkled some sand from him who sprinkled the main areas for some small money. Very nice and handsome people around. Thank you very much for an enjoyable experience

Absolutely beautiful cabin for the extended family of 18. Plenty of space even though we were many. The cabin was tidy and clean and easy to navigate. Short distance to Rjukan asked if the weather is not great one day. And 1 hour to lovely Gaustatoppen.

There were 8 of us in the house and we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The house is cozy and also very generous with several people. The communication with Marius was quick and easy.
