Villa Carla is an over 100-year-old stone Istrian house with the comfort of the present time. It is located in a quiet location, in nature next to a vineyard, only 5 km from the city of Koper. Our grandparents and great-grandparents lived in it... including grandmother Carla (nona Carla), after whom the villa was named. From the old days, a typical well in which there was never a shortage of water and two old trees that you will immediately notice; cypress and mulberry. Get to know the magical Istria!

The bus stop is 350 meters away. Ankaran Beach is 1.7 kilometers away (25 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car). This excellent location allows you to explore nearby cities Trieste and Udine in Italy, and Koper, Izola, and Piran in Slovenia. There are many hiking and biking trails in the area.

Situated in the heart of Santa Barbara, it used to be the Central Point of the village. Called "Osteria Ex Maria", it was the local Tavern run by our Family for decades since the early '900s. It took almost a decade of extensive and elaborate restoration process to have it back to be enjoyed as a peaceful and enjoyable location. We kept the flavor of the past with the addition of modern and efficient solutions. The result is an ambiance that offers super cozy and relaxing feeling.

The tax is €2,50per adult per night, and 1,25 per childer age 7-17, according to local regulations.
