Beachfront holiday rental in Icaria

The small stone house is located directly by the sea. The terrace is beautiful to linger on. We were there in May - there are about two cars a day behind the house - otherwise only sea sounds and birdsong. The accommodation is rustic, cozy and comfortable. If you want to spend your vacation in absolute peace and seclusion, then this is the right choice. We will be happy to come back. We were also lucky to receive regular visits from a red cat lady. She behaved very respectfully, but was very happy about smaller snacks. We have provided a feeding and water bowl that can also be used in the future. Please remember to shop before arrival - the nearest supermarket is in the next village. We would also like to recommend two restaurants - firstly Arodou in Xilosirtis and Cafe on the Island in Magganitis. Try the cheese with honey, wonderful tzatziki and tsipouro (with caution) in the cafe.

Stamatis is extremely kind and attentive and helped make our stay special. He’d warned us not many tavernas would be open in April so we were prepared for that. An added benefit of this time of year was the wildflowers on beautiful walks. We used the AllTrails app under a free trial!

I visited This place in the end of October with mu 3 kids. It was absolutely fantastic. Nice and quiet. I went swimming, running and took a lot if walks to town for nice meals, pastries and groceries. My kids gad a fantastic time snorkeling and petting cats. Manos and his cousin where involved and pro-active with helping wherever they could. Thank u soo much!! And thank you Fourni island..

He was a wonderful host. The house and location were very nice. The location is quiet and the sea is very clean and beautiful. We would like to come again.

We booked the same day we arrived, Kleopatra had just cleaned when we parked and told her that we just arrived. She waited waving her hand in front of the entrance to the complex of several flats while I walked down the street in the direction she had told me. In the beginning there wasn´t any hot water, but when I sent her a message, immediately the heater was turned on. She also brought me a hair dryer. The appartment is nice, luminous and tidy, with a small balcony with a table an two chairs to enjoy the view on the Marina. The kitchen is basic, but enough. You´ll find salt, but will have to achieve the rest in the nearby supermarket. Still, a very good price-service relation, quite unbeatable on Samos, I guess. Exceeded expectations! Absolutely stunning location, perfect little house with everything you need and more! We loved the wuick access to the beautiful beahc onlt a shoet walk, on the way up is slightly steep but is very short and totally worth it. Hosts very attentive and go above and beyond for you.

Beautiful location and excellent food. Loved the homemade croissants and the views from the cliff side. Easy access to great swimming and super nice folks! The grocery store is a 5 minute walk and lots of restaurant options are nearby.

Lillian has the most incredible villa next to a pool overlooking the coast with small beach and farm land. The private balcony was the perfect touch for morning sunrise. Everything was very clean and easy to use. About 20 minute walk to town but so worth it with the views and one of a kind pictures. The restaurant was so amazing with wonderful customer service and even better sea views !! Unforgettable summer experiences.

This is the place for families to stay on Ikaria. Spacious kitchen diner, 3 bedrooms and incredible outside space. The pool is excellent, with endless views of the Aegean sea, and occasional glimpses of distant Cycladic islands. The location is also tremendous, a very short walk down to a lovely little beach with good snorkelling around the rocky coast. Nanouras is a very quiet hamlet with no shop or taverna, so it's peaceful and easy to park. It's only a short drive (or bike ride) up the coast to Nas or Armenistis for bars, restaurants and mini markets. There is also a fairly new (paved) road up to the interior villages very nearby, which are well worth visiting. Christos the host and his family were responsive, friendly and helpful. His mother made us some pasta one night! Altogether a complete holiday rental, thoroughly recommended on every level.

This is a little gem of a place! A little bohemian and relaxing with beautiful views of both sea & mountain. The pool is fabulous but as the lovely beach is a 5 minute walk you are spoiled for choice. The bathroom was the only slight issue, clean & adequate but very small. I will definitely be coming back.

We had a great week at the property with our kids (16,13,10). The view is truly stunning. In the kitchen you will find everything else you might need. The house has all the comforts. Spacious rooms, a swimming pool with sea views, several seats and plenty of space inside. Recommended to do in the area is hiking in the surroundings of the Potami waterfalls and eating at the top of the steep stairs. And if you really want to see a beautiful sunset, you should definitely eat at Orizontas (book). A boat trip to Ephesus is also well worthwhile. In the May holidays, it can still be fresh, so a cardigan is recommended. The house is quite centrally located and you can easily reach the surrounding villages with a rental car. The photos match what you see in real life, maybe it's even nicer!

the cleaning of the house was great, daily cleaning was done and our garbage was taken away. The view of the pool was very nice, the grocery store, the beach and restaurants were a few minutes away by car. Her communication and hospitality were nice... Antonis and his family are friendly and accommodating hosts, also the housekeeper was very friendly and discreet. The complex seems even more beautiful than in the pictures, it is very quiet, several small houses in a well-kept garden with many olive trees. Everything was perfectly clean. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Antonis’s place was great — super clean and peaceful. We had an amazing time. I have no words for the view — it was simply fascinating. We also loved the private beach, which was just a 2-minute walk from the house. The pool was always clean, and the house was cleaned every day. Additionally, there were plenty of good restaurants and bars just 15 minutes away by car. We hope to visit Limnionas again next year. Thank you for everything. 🥳🌸

It's a house, but you can immediately feel you're at home. Any single detail is made with such care, the terrace is incredible, the view let you breathe again with an amplified. The kitchen is pretty equipped and you can make yourself a great Fredo espresso. I just regret not to spend more time there and better know Stylianos. Thank you for all, we had great time🩵

This is the perfect place to unwind. It is a rustic setting completely secluded, just you and nature. Spectacular scenery and tranquility with the best sunsets. Alexis and Vicky were extremely kind and helpful, picked us up at the airport and provided fruits and vegetables from their garden. Special mention to the homemade ice cream! Look no further if your goal is peace and quiet.

We had a wonderful time at Nikos's place. His father met us in the square and showed us to the apartment, which was charmingly furnished and very close to the center of town. Communication was easy and we spent several evenings lounging on the roof deck. Highly recommended!

Charming accommodation with beautiful sea views and a large terrace where it is good to rest in the evening. A small path leads to a pretty little beach at the foot of the house. It's a peaceful and picturesque paradise. The lovely little port of Evdilos is 1.3 km away (3 minutes by car). Thanks to Nico and his family for their warm welcome (grapes and tomatoes from the garden).
