Our cabin is nestled in a wooded area & is very private. 15 minutes from 3 different towns with Wadena being the biggest. There's a queen bed on the main floor bedroom and a queen bed in the loft bedroom. WIFI/ cable television are available. Can sleep with the windows open or use the air conditioning. Outdoor pets are welcome, no pets inside please. You will have a view of the pond & we see deer on a daily basis. We will supply bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups & silverware.

This home is set up like a duplex with owners occupying the top (we do have 3 young children) and guests having full, private access to the bottom half. Guests are given a private garage and back yard that includes free firewood. Private entry gives access to over 2,200 sq ft of private space that includes a semi-four seasons room with gas fireplace, laundry, and full kitchen. The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Christopher’s home. The location is very private with the most beautiful view. It was very comfortable and cozy- felt like home. The “extras” (ie make up wipes and travel sized toiletry) that were available were greatly appreciated!!

Our stay on Lake Ida was beautiful and relaxing! Maggie was very responsive before and during our stay. Helped with a few quick questions immediately. We also loved the room setups-plenty of space for everyone to get good nights sleep. And every room has a fan which we appreciated for white noise for the kids to sleep. Would definitely be back!

We loved staying in one of the cottages. Very clean and comfortable. We lucked out that things weren't very busy the weekend we visited so it was incredibly quiet. Even on a busier weekend, it still would be a great place, lots of space to explore. The beach was very nice with paddle boats, paddle boards and kayaks up for grabs. Amy and Tim were excellent hosts and quick to respond to questions. The cottage had a larger-than-average mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. We did assume that it would have well water (which is perfectly fine to drink, but an acquired taste) so we brought a 5 gallon jug for drinking water, just an fyi. We will definitely be visiting again!

Very comfortable barndo at lake Miltona! Although there was only 2 of us during our stay, it has more than enough space and beds for a large family or a group of fishing buddies. The water is fairly shallow where the dock is, but we were able to use the trolling motor to get us docked up every night. Highly recommend Dean and Bobbie's for anyone visiting the area. We will be back!
