Beachfront holiday rental in Ierapetra

We had a wonderful 15 days! ☀️ The accommodation is very nice, super modern, comfortable and everyone was very nice! The pool was also great and always clean. Only a few meters walk away was a beautiful beach, where you can also have a great breakfast. To get to the next town or to other beaches, you need a vehicle - the nice lady at the reception also took care of that and we were picked up to get to the rental and when handing in the quad we were also brought back to the accommodation. All in all, we were completely satisfied and didn't want to leave. Thank you for everything! 🤍

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Everything is very well maintained - the location within walking distance of the beach is unbeatable. Friendly welcome from the hostess, highly recommended!

One of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed at. Owner is great and took care of everything very fast and efficiently. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a secluded holiday in Crete. We will always go back to this place!

Of all my trips to Greece, this was the first place I stayed where I just had to sit on the balcon and relax. Wat a wonderful view! The place where the house is located is calm and surrounded only by Greek nature. What we could want more? Dimitrios and his wife are very welcoming. I had a really good time ! The apartment is clean and I much appreciated the view from the balcony! The instructions were clear and the parking easy. The only thing is that the bathroom is a bit small so it might not be very easy for a tall person. The village is charming with many good restaurants. I really enjoyed it!

A really enjoyable stay at Platankia. It was extremely well equipped and had everything you would need and more, only thing that would help would a microwave - the kids really enjoyed the toys that were in the beach basket and kept them entertained without the need for a TV etc. Be warned wifi is a bit slow but great if you want to disconnect from the Internet for a while. Some really great restaurants, would recommend Vespas for Pizzas and Vitsalo is great for seafood. Everyone in town is extremely friendly and kind and Myrtos is always contactable if you have any other queries. We enjoyed being able to pick oranges and lemons and made enough lemonade to sink a battleship! I really enjoyed the hmock and the slide and swing is great for children. It is extremely private as you have large greenhouses on both sides but at the same time it is super easy to walk into town. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back. The gorge is worth seeing and lots of other stuff

The Penthouse apartment was just as described and as the pictures showed. Very modern and clean, and the host and his team were very responsive during the stay. Would definitely stay again, the location is perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants and mini markets, you have everything you need on your doorstep with no need to drive anywhere unless you want to. The only thing missing was mirror’s in the bedrooms for drying hair which would be a really helpful addition. There are mirrors in the bathrooms, but not really suitable for hair drying once the bathroom is all steamed up from a shower. That being said, it would not stop me from returning.

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend!

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

The place was clean, modern and we loved the proximity to the beach. It was nice to have fruits, wine and crackers provided as we arrived late in the evening. The swimming pool was also excellent. I would love to come back!

It was wonderful, the boys and I loved the fire and outdoor whirl, but also the beautiful rural setting and the starry night sky. Even homemade baked goods were brought to us. They were very lovely hosts. Thank you.

House impeccable as in the listing, close to shops, restaurants, beaches, main road. La canée, Gorges de samaria 5 hours by car. We had a great time. Thank you.

This home is absolutely perfect for every type of vacation you want. Close enough to Herikalon for a quick transfer to the airport, winery, dinner or boat cruise.(make sure to connect with Manos for the best transfers and excursions). Yet also tons of good restaurants and coffee, shops, and small markets that allow you to be more casual if you want to. Then you can just stay in the villa use their excellent and clean kitchen and appliances and have one of the best views of Dia available on the island of Crete. The host Georgia is a 11 out of 10. She was kind enough to stock the kitchen so when we arrived, everything was already there for us to not have to leave the villa and totally relax and get over the jet lag. Then she provides ideas and was there every time I had a question (and I had a lot). The pool is perfect and house is new and precise and cools very well. Very good space and more than enough for the six people that it sleeps with having three private bathrooms was a treat

Great accommodation, right on the beach! We had perfect swimming weather at the end of October and the beach completely to ourselves! Sidonia is very remote, in the off-season there is still 1 tavern open, you have to be aware of that! Great for relaxing and simply enjoying the beach and sea.

Lovely stay with a responsive but discreet host. Being early in the season we enjoyed low crowds and peaceful, uncrowded beach and waterfront. The room was immaculate and Lisa was very helpful. A very enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

We had an amazing week - we really enjoyed the house and its amenities and the beach is just across the street, so it’s a great place to disconnect and enjoy. If you like to run, there’s a long beach just a few mins away. Hosts were great, very responsive and super helpful. 100% recommend, would definitely come back.

Relaxing week in a quiet area. Apartment where you can feel good. Less than a minute from the sea on foot. Dining around less than a minute from the city center. Careful host who responds very quickly to messages.

We loved our stay! The apartment is located just on top of the Taverna and about 15 meters from the beach. Within 5 minutes walk there is also a yoga location offering amazing drop in classes. From the moment we drove into the town we were warmly greeted by the lambros family. We spent the next 5 days at the beach and taverna relaxing. It was a great experience and we truly felt part of the local community for the short period we stayed. I highly recommend it if you want to relax and do less rather than more! The apartment is spacious and provides all you need for your stay, including a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to chill.

Lovely little apartment on two floors. The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of linens, towels, and spare blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well equipped, although in a very narrow space. I loved the private beach. A steep descent, which was easily accessible. I can only recommend the place

We had a very nice and relaxing holiday. Everything was perfect. Our host and his parents took good care of us. The vacation home is well equipped and in a very well-maintained condition. We lacked nothing that is not self-evident. Outside, there are beautiful places to stay in the shade. The outdoor shower is great when you come from the beach. Overall, everything was great and recommended, even if the journey from Heraklion airport took almost 3 hours.

We had a love stay! Irene was communicative, check in was easy, and her home is ideally located. We enjoyed spending evenings on the patio, cooking meals at home, and snorkeling at the beach below the house. We found a really lovely taverna about 5 mins away that we enjoyed frequenting, as well as a market nearby. We enjoyed exploring this part of Crete and loved having Irene’s home to come back to each day. Highly recommend!
