The apartment is located in the foothills of the Alps and offers many excursion opportunities to Lake Starnberg, Osterseen, Lake Tegernsee, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bad Tölz, Murnau and Munich. The picturesque landscape around Penzberg is beautiful and the proximity to Munich offers big city flair with a lot of culture. Munich is only 45 km away. A train runs to Munich every 30 minutes. Our apartment (in a 3-family house) in the basement, is located between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the middle of the “Pfaffenwinkel.“ The optimal starting point for numerous excursions to sights or also sporting activities such as hiking or cycling. Larger shopping facilities can be found in Weilheim, Peißenberg or Murnau. In addition, a natural swimming pond with a small Kneipp facility is about 1 km away and allows spontaneous refreshment at any time of the day
