House holiday rentals in Inverness

Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

Adrian’s place nestled in the redwoods near bodega bay was well appointed and provided everything we needed for our vacation visit to the bay area after living away. Adrian and Scuba were responsive, proactive and even provided some great recommendations such as the old grove of trees nearby for accessible hiking for our young family. Overall the hosts and stay were great and we would absolutely stay here again or recommend to our friends and family.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home the weekend I was prosing to my girlfriend. The pictures do not do the place justice and the views from the backyard are amazing. Brian was an excellent host and was very attentive and helpful during our stay. We loved the peaceful vibe of Sea Ranch and can’t imagine coming back and not staying at this place. We look forward to returning again in the future!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Forestville. Kurt and Heather were wonderful and took care of everything, from local recommendations (including a photographer to take some family photos) to answering any questions we had during our stay. The house is lovely and the setting is absolutely breathtaking. And you are only 20 minutes from some of the best stops in Sonoma County including Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, and more! We would come back in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy House! The pool was large and fantastic, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked with everything we needed. The house was spotless, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Both the garden and front yard were lovely, and the pool area was especially private thanks to the high fence. Brook was incredibly friendly, always checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay, and promptly answered all our questions. She was very helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommend!

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

Bill is an incredible host! He is so kind and responsive, always trying to make your stay 10/10. The house is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, spotlessly clean, and well-stocked. If you want a truly peaceful and relaxing place to stay, with a kind and attentive host, this is the place you should stay!

The host was very accommodating and responsive. The rental was amazing. Love the open concept overlooking the river and trees. The kitchen was huge and had all the cookware and accessories we needed. Loved the modern bathroom and beautiful shower. Overall, we loved the rental, and would love to come back and stay again.

Beautiful home and gardens full of quail and woodpeckers and gorgeous wildflowers. Great to be able to walk to beaches and trails right from the property (starting on the road). We loved this place! FYI - the bed in the primary bedroom is very comfy, but the cabins that sleep additional guests have beds of varying quality, e.g. the trundle in the little studio has a super soft mattress, so if you're particular, you might want to bring a topper etc.

We had a magical multigenerational stay at Locke's house in Inverness with my husband, three year old and my parents. We visit Pt Reyes regularly and the location is absolutely perfect, quick walk across the road to Chicken Ranch Beach for kids to romp around, a quick drive into Pt Reyes station for dinner, and easy access to all the wonderful Pt Reyes trails. The house itself was cosy, quiet, had amazing views from the deck (and was sunny most of the day which is rare on this side of Tomales bay!) and felt like a real home. We really liked having the separate cottage to provide a bit more privacy and quiet with a young kiddo with us, and we found the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in the evenings. The only very minor challenge we had was trying to heat the cottage and main house evenly as they are on the same heating system, and the nights were chilly during our visit. Definitely staying here again on future trips to Pt Reyes.

my friend and I stayed at Peter‘s place over Easter weekend, and we just loved everything about it. The home layout was fantastic with one wing having all of the social spaces, dining kitchen lounging rooms with huge windows that looked across both lagoons. Beautiful sunset and watching the sea birds. The other wing had a sleeping quarters in the bathrooms. Everything was pristine and there was plenty of space. One room is a bunk room, which was super fun and the beds were really comfortable. The house is well located and even more beautiful than the pictures Peter was super responsive and proactive we would stay again in a heartbeat. There are such beautiful, calm, peaceful energy, a great place to unwind.

Such a wonderful spot! Had everything we needed and it was so clean! Staying right among the vines was amazing. The beautiful gardens, fire pit and bocce were awesome, so much space on the property. Lastly, it was within 15 minutes of every tasting we went to, even closer to downtown Healdsburg. Such a special little place ☺️

The home was beautiful, we truly enjoyed our time there. They say that pictures are worth a thousand words but pictures of the views from the multiple balconies are unable to capture how stunning they really are. The home was just as listed, clean and was the most stocked home we have visited. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas and made unforgettable memories.

Jessie’s place was incredible - clean, cozy, comfortable and completely walkable to the beautiful town. We stayed with our 3 month old and had everything we needed. The rooms are spacious and beds were super comfortable. Despite having neighbors close by and upstairs guests, we found it to be extremely quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

This is our second time staying with Robert/Jami at this great place. It's the most peaceful and tranquil location, and so comfortable. The hosts are so helpful and accommodating, including helping us with a special request. We were celebrating our anniversary, and this place and Bodega Bay made it special and memorable.

Such a beautiful, peaceful and fun place to stay! Completely private but walkable for espresso, ice cream, etc. The bed was very comfortable, fabulous kitchen, views to die for and squeaky clean everywhere. The hot tub was an extra bonus. We can’t wait to come back this Fall! Thank you!

We have stayed at Justin's place a number of times and keep returning because it truly has everything we are looking for--beautiful, peaceful surroundings, a less-than-five-minute walk from the beach, and a comfortable yet elegant living space with lots of toys and books to keep kids entertained and a kitchen perfect for preparing group meals with all the great ingredients the area offers. Can't wait to come back!

We absolutely love staying in this cabin. It’s warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully stocked—so much more homey and comfortable than a typical hotel. One of the biggest reasons we choose Airbnb is to avoid the sterile feel of a hotel room, and this cabin is the perfect example of why we keep coming back. It’s easy to find and just a short walk to Chicken Ranch Beach, yet it still feels like a peaceful retreat tucked away in the woods. The quiet, secluded surroundings make it an ideal place to relax and recharge. One of my favorite parts of each day was doing yoga on the deck in the morning, surrounded by birdsong. The loft space adds a fun and cozy touch, and having a bathroom up there was a great convenience. As someone who loves to cook, I really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen—and being able to gaze out at the neighbor’s beautiful garden and spot deer on the hillside made cooking even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next stay.

Beautiful and peaceful setting with a wonderful view of Tomales Bay. This is the second time we've stayed at the eco refuge and really loved staying at the Ridge House. The house is comfortable, warm with everything you need in the kitchen. Micah is friendly and responsive.

I’d recommend an upgrade to the WiFi, but short of that … the property was perfect and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Thank you for the exceptional stay, it was so relaxing and easy to be in the house and get around from there. I will never forget it and hope to have the chance to come back at some point.

Perfect location for peace and serenity! The house is spotless, kitchen was open and easy to use, and the beds are comfortable and soft. The hot tub and heated stone sofa were welcomed every morning and evening while listening to the ocean. We will be back soon!
