Cottage holiday rentals in Ireland

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

My partner, doggy and myself had an incredible time at Catrionas. We stayed for two nights and sat in both evenings and enjoyed the amenities. Catriona has three lovely dogs and so many cute farm animals - we were lucky enough to see baby bell as a 3 week old lamb. Most importantly Catriona was very accommodating of our dog who can be a bit funny (being very kind), she was a great host. Her place is the most perfect tranquil piece of heaven! Would recommend it to everyone :)

My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful scenery and so private and peaceful. Excellent location for visiting the cliffs and beaches. The local pub offers great food and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Patrick was a very responsive host and easy to deal with.

The setting is peaceful and scenic, with breathtaking countryside views that added to the sense of escape and relaxation we were hoping for. My wife and I had a lovely time at a charming little cottage. The atmosphere was cozy, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub immensely. We also liked having a bonfire outside for extra warmth and fun. Although it rained during our stay, we found that the cottage had good sound systems and a TV. This allowed us to listen to music and enjoy a wonderful evening indoors. Overall, we highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing getaway! :)

The house is gorgeous and so cosy. Mairead was so friendly and helpful and we had a brilliant time. pics don't do it justice was a fab little retreat. absolutely recommend. Glenties is a lovely wee town too and locals were so friendly. had an amazing trip

We had a great stay at Dee's. The location was perfect and very close to the beach. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The fresh eggs were a lovely touch. Dee and Paul were also great hosts.

Dave and Susana are superb. Very helpful, available and ready to help in anyway. The space is as unique and interesting as they are. Also, don’t forget to check out the handmade scarves and ponchos, they are works of art in and of themselves! Thanks for taking care of us Dave!

Perfect cottage to escape from the hustle and bustle, packed with all the amenities required for a break in nature and lots of sheep for company. Everything was immaculate when we arrived and the stove is such a treat in the evenings. Make sure you pack wellies for navigating from your car to the door - the sheep don't hold themselves to the same immaculate standards...

A magical and cosy cottage, beautifully decorated in calming neutral tones. The bed and sofa are wonderfully comfortable, perfect for relaxing, lazy days. It’s a lovely place to truly switch off and unwind, but still close enough to explore the charm of nearby unspoilt towns. The enclosed garden made it feel safe and welcoming for our 2 dogs, which was a big plus. Just at the end of the lane, you’ll find a stony seafront where you can take in the dramatic beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way. And if you’re after a sandy beach, there’s a stunning 5km stretch just a 15-minute drive away. There’s plenty to see and do in the area too, including a visit to Belleek Urban Park in Ballina. A wonderful spot for a peaceful, scenic escape.

Beautiful cottage just outside Kenmare town. Anne's cottage is situated on farmland which makes it extra special for the kids who got to see Calves, tractors and play with the dog. Anne is a fantastic host and was always on hand when we had a query. She also brought a lovely fresh sponge cake on our second day which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Kenmare, set a base for the beara way or anyone travelling around South Kerry that wants to have a cosy place to call home for there trip.

Such a warm welcome from lovely hosts, who keep the place charming, with thoughts put in everything, up to a delicious home-made pie!. Gertie is really welcoming but leaves you your space, and the cottage is like a heaven for tired spirits, with the song of birds all around and a beautiful view on the meadows. I will come back!

Beautiful location with amazing views. Great place if you are looking for quiet walks on the beach. The cottage was very well set up for two couples with an en-suite in each bedroom. We brought our dogs and they were able to run around outside as it was fully enclosed.

Really cool old cottage in a very quiet area out in the country. The rustic nature of the house makes for a unique, one of a kind stay. One morning we walked about ten minutes to a local farmer's private access to the Cliffs of Moher and had the whole area to ourselves. Absolutely stunning scenery.

It was an amazing place view was amazing Sarah is very responsible and available every time all over good just some toiletries were missing like body wash and toothpaste but I am sure if I would have asked she might provide but was not staying longer so I ddnt bother her …overall very nice thank you 😊

Host was very accommodating. Smooth check in. Accommodation is walking distance from Killashee so perfect place to stay if attending an event there. The accomodation was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable! There was milk, tea and coffee left out. air fryer was a great addition.

This was our second time in Ireland but the first time in Donegal and Inishorin. We absolutely fell in love with the place. Andrea’s cottage was a large part of that. It was charming, pristine, and in a gorgeous, private location. She gave us so many great suggestions for things to do. And the books…amazing selection of things to look at and read placed all around the cottage. The cozy nook in the dining area had an amazing view. We enjoyed sitting there and watching the sun set and the sky change colors. Andrea had some lovely touches, fresh flowers, a welcome packet with some yummy treats and a bottle of something to sip and enjoy. This was definitely one of the best places we have stayed and we highly recommend it.

Beautiful private home with modern amenities. Amazing location (close to Doonbeg golf) and the views and sunset were spectacular.

We thought this was a wonderful place to stay - peaceful and away from business but easy to get to nearby villages by car. It felt genuinely like a home, especially with a wood burner to make it feel extra cosy and homemade marmalade and soda bread to start the morning. This made our anniversary weekend feel extra special so many thanks to Kate!

I stayed at this listing with my parents, husband and my 9 month daughter. We had a seamless time checking in and it felt like a home from home immediately, with all the provisions you’d hope for. The house was spotless and was spacious enough for everyone to relax. The beach was what sold it for us when booking, and it doesn’t disappoint! Bonus points were the little rabbits that calmly surround the place, and the private decking and seating area which catches the evening sun. My only particular feedback for those with infants is that the floorboards and plumbing are quite loud, so it was tricky to not wake the baby when sneaking back to bed or going to the bathroom. A minor detail, still 5 stars!

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt bei Joanne! Fußläufig vom Airbnb ist ein Schloss, welches einen super Ausblick aufs Meer inkl. beeindruckender Felsvorsprünge bietet. Das Airbnb war auch super eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Außerdem war Joanne sehr nett, hilfsbereit und sehr flexibel beim Check-in, welcher sich wegen uns immer weiter nach hinten verschoben hatte.. eine große Empfehlung!!

this is the second time we’ve stayed at Julia’s place and it was just as nice as the first time. we would definitely come back again!
