House faithful to the photos published, very clean, very pleasant. The garden was also very popular with our 2 dogs. There are many things to do and see in the area and we will happily return to Veronique's.

We did not have the opportunity to meet but Marie gave us all the information about the accommodation and tips for going out in the area. The accommodation was impeccable and perfect for our large family.

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

The house was beautiful, very peaceful and provided everything we needed during our stay My brother and I stayed to be close to Carentan Hospital to visit our father, the journey was easy and we made use of the Baguette machine most days. Yohann was a very good host and answered any queries promptly. Will certainly be visiting again.

We had a great weekend at Nicolas' cottage! The house is really spacious and very pleasant to live in. Nicolas came to welcome us and show us around the house. We really appreciated the little attention to our dog (bowl available and suggestion of walks!). We slept very well, in the quiet of the countryside. It is not easy to find accommodation for a family or friends reunion. Everything is there here. Number of rooms and beds, leisure facilities for children and adults, crockery, seats all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

We had a great time with the family. Stephan welcomed us very warmly with a great island meal. Very large, and spacious accommodation, it offers a lot of activities, billiards / foosball / barbecue..... The jaccouzi is a big plus. I highly recommend!!:)

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

An excellent stay in an exceptional setting. Located near the Houlgate Golf Course, this peaceful haven offers many activities on site (darts, foosball, table tennis, volleyball, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, pinball, billiards, karaoke). The perfect place for an EVG or a multi-activity stay with friends. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the accommodation is very well equipped and close to Houlgate for walks on the beach!

Beautiful house with stunning views. Superb decoration. Extremely well-equipped house with all the comforts for a memorable stay. "The Sound of the Waves" is aptly named. A true haven of peace. Great hosting by Florence who will give you plenty of good advice (remember to follow her instructions for access to the house!). Excellent welcome for dogs which is a big plus for me. We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

Rachel’s place is a hidden gem . Beautifully decorated, fresh and clean . The bed was very comfortable. The sauna was an added bonus especially after a lovely swim on Omaha beach Within walking distance to American cemetery and overlord museum. Great place to stay for short break . Highly recommend

Perfect cottage for 2, quiet. Excellent bedding, large bathroom. We came for the weekend of the ascension (May 28) with my Malinois and my staff. You have a garden and a path after the gate on the right for a 10-minute walk for their morning and evening needs, accompanied by cows, hares and horses next door. The beach is 7 km away. The German cemetery is 3 km away. Nothing to complain about, relaxing weekend.

Small wedding weekend on the Saint-Lô side. The listing was completely in line with the listing description and photos. Perfect for our couple, a 20-minute walk from the party hall. The welcome was very warm, thank you very much. We will be happy to visit the area again.
