This is a story from a few years ago. I rented a vacation home with four families of friends in Kailua, Hawaii. I wondered if I could recreate the most enjoyable vacation rental near Tokyo?! And so, after searching the land along the coast of Chiba, we finally arrived here, in Hinata, Isumi City. We created "Hiali Plus" with a focus on a comfortable space and a pleasant environment for group stays. The Hiiro Coast, a 5-minute walk away, is a pristine beach in Minamiboso Quasi-National Park. There are few people whenever you go, and it is just like a hideaway. The water temperature is high until around October, so you can enjoy playing in the sea. Imagine a slower, simpler, more serene place and time. A place set between emerald green rice fields and an endless sandy beach. An unhurried time of the past, when family and friends sat, talked, ate and drank on traditional tatami, or under the stars, with the faint sound of waves crashing rhythmically in the background. This is what you’ll find at Grandma’s House, a tastefully preserved mid-twentieth century cottage five minutes on foot from Toyoumi Beach in Kujukuri town.

If lunch looks up at the sky at the sound that birdsong and wind pass through the forest, the flame night when the open-air fire wavers in the voice of the insect at dusk in BGM, a star-filled sky waits for.
