A beautiful 2 bedroom home in downtown Ithaca. Our house is perfectly located within walking distance to the Commons, a four-block pedestrian shopping area with over 100 unique shops, restaurants, street vendors & street entertainers. Coming to visit Cornell University or Ithaca College? Both are only a 7 minute drive away, or catch the bus from a stop right at the corner.
“David and George are great hosts! They are incredibly fast responders to questions, and communicate everything and anything you need to know. The house has everything you could need: dishwasher, laundry, pots, pans, staples for cooking, stocked with linens and bathroom needs. I especially appreciated the cleaning measures that were taken and how clean the entire place was when we walked in. The location is great and there are many beautiful walks and drives within close distance.”
Two spacious rooms by a small gorge full of birds, deer and wild turkey. A comfortable, private space featuring masterful trompe l'oeil art. Five minute walk from Cayuga Medical Center, hiking trails, and the Museum of the Earth.
“Floor of a house full of charm, in the middle of the woods. Don and his wife are very kind and friendly. The cleanliness of the accommodation is irreproachable. The house is very close to the beautiful lake. A small kitchen area would have been a plus. Thank you again for this beautiful experience. We enjoyed it very much.”
This is your vacation suite on Cayuga Lake. Relax as you take in the view and listen to the water and wind. Watch the comings and goings of boats and birds. Swim in the lake or take a paddle! 5 min from Downtown Ithaca and on the wine trail.
“We had a great time! Jes is a wonderful hostess, although we never met in person. The place is very modern and nicely decorated and she left lots of nice details that make all the difference. We decided to get away during this yellow phase of COVID19. Jes provides us a list with a variety of restaurants that were open and at least had takeout. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. And the view is spectacular! She even left us some munchies and good coffee to make for our breakfast. We didn’t get a chance to take a kayak out, but maybe next time! If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place for you, but otherwise I highly recommend!”
