Welcome to our charming little cottage, which is peacefully and scenically located, a 5-minute walk from Isefjorden. From the living room there are views of the large, undisturbed garden, where you can relax on the terrace and in the hammock. The house contains a living and dining room, kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom with shower. There is a double bed and a sofa bed with room for two. The car is easily parked in the carport. If you are looking for nature and tranquility 45 minutes from Copenhagen, then this is the place for you.

The large natural area on the protected ridge is forested, and from the top, where there is a magnificent view of Roskilde Fjord, a staircase leads down to an area with a bathing jetty. With a location within a reasonable distance from Roskilde and Copenhagen, the house is very suitable for guests who are looking for both nature and cultural experiences. Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

Small oasis in a cozy area

Welcome to our lovely little oasis. Our 48 sq. m. wooden cottage has one bedroom, kitchen, living room and one bathroom. Next to the main house, we have built an annex of 19 sq. m, which we are very happy about. You will have access to the annex if you book for more than 2 people.
