The small cottage is quietly located, with a small sitting area in the backyard and free parking in front of the door. The old town of Magdeburg can be reached by car in 15 minutes. Everything was sparkling clean (!) and in the kitchen everything you need is available. The staircase is indeed very unusual and you have to be very careful and "sure-footed". The doorways on the ground floor are quite low - tall people have to watch their heads. The check-in and communication went smoothly and André is a very friendly, helpful host.

We spent a relaxed extended weekend with two families, Martin got extra high chairs (thank you!) There are plenty of sleeping options, and staying in a motorhome is super cool for the kids - although ours didn't dare in the end, of course. It is a great garden plot, the outdoor toilets + shower super practical and we spent a little time in it. Grill and beautiful fireplace available, plenty of bird and animal life incl. nightingale in spring. Admittedly, a dishwasher was something we were missing, which is perhaps good to know for larger groups - but also relaxing, just to wash up ;) and dishes are also plentiful. The beds were comfortable, everything is very cozy and furnished with attention to detail, I would say meditative farmhouse charm! By car, you can get to the shops and the lake in 15 minutes, including boat rentals. We will be happy to come back!

Here’s a well-rounded Airbnb review for you: We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous and incredibly comfortable place! The house itself is impeccable, beautifully maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The interior is thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a true home away from home. One thing to note is that the street leading to the house is a turf road, and the front gate seems to be under construction, making you pause for a moment when arriving. However, once you step inside, all worries go away, and the property is great.

We had a great time over the turn of the year at Jan's place. Perfect to escape with the dog of the city. We particularly liked the large garden and the surroundings, you can definitely have a cozy time. We can only recommend the property.

A pearl amid the lovely Altmark region is this big estate, well maintained and kept in original style wherever possible. ………………………..the flat has everything you need, the host is close by and easy to reach, I‘ll definitely come again and can only recommend the Gutshof.

We stayed at this beautiful house with our three children for a getaway. The decor is very cozy and the facilities leave nothing to be desired. The garden invites you to grill, relax and play. We enjoyed the time very much!

We had really nice days at Maike's and felt very comfortable. Maike was super nice, very relaxed as a host and always there when we had a question. The lake is within walking distance, you can relax and drink your first coffee on the meadow by the house, and the barrel sauna saved us on rainy days. We had a great time on and with the houseboat with our three daughters (9 and 2x7)! We stayed there for three nights and anchored and bathed in another beautiful place every night. You can quickly learn to use the boat. Lars was super friendly, relaxed and helpful, an ideal host. The whole thing felt like the wildest wild camping we had never experienced before, in the middle of the most beautiful nature, but with a real bed and warm shower, 😊 fully recommended to all who are looking for and appreciate the special! We felt very comfortable at Edda's. Edda and her husband were very warm and had a lot of tips for the area. In the immediate vicinity, we were able to go for a nice walk with our dog. The apartment is cozy and all rooms are very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. Edda even provided us with a capsule machine on request. The bedrooms could be made nice and dark by the shutters. There is a terrace. Our daughter immediately fell in love with the big swing in the garden. Once again in the area, we would definitely come back. We can only recommend Edda's apartment. Thanks a lot!

A great place to stay in a great location! The amenities are awesome - everything you can use is there! Very cozy and clean ! On top, access to a sauna barrel and a pool on hot summer days - free space for children to romp and a playground in the corner! We thought everything was great ! Will definitely come back !

We have found an oasis of well-being. Our grandson had a play and swimming paradise. We received all the info and explored the area by bike. The landlords are super nice and very communicative. The apartment has everything you need to take a vacation.

The accommodation is exactly what we were looking for - direct location on the lake, relatively private, as the nearest tiny houses were not directly next to it & great equipped for a few days off! Anette was very friendly and communicated everything wonderfully. We felt very comfortable & we will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful three days stay in Britta's apartment. It is a beautifully decorated, large, bright apartment, equipped with everything you need, located on a quiet street in the historical center of the city. The cleanliness is impeccable and the beds are very comfortable. Thank you, Britta!

We enjoyed our time at Julia’s place. While we did not get to meet her, the woman tending the property was very lovely and kind. She made us feel right at home and took care of us well. The surroundings are beautiful. We very highly recommend renting bikes from Mittelelbe Radverleih. The owner was so very kind, accommodating, and generous. He delivered the bikes right to the AirBnb and came back to pick them up 24 hours later. We biked around downtown Wittenberg one day and then along the Elbe river the next day. This was our favorite thing!

The tiny house was a dream, very clean, it was everything and much more of everything available. The location by the lake is simply awesome, if not directly opposite the highway. Therefore (for me) loud and disturbing. If you can overlook this, then it's the perfect vacation. Still very nice.

We were on the road with my dog practically all day and enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. The recommended cafe for breakfast was very good. We wish Heike and her partner every success and many nice guests. It was very nice!!!

Liv has set up a very nice apartment here. Everything you need is ready. It's all well thought out.

Our stay at Petra's was wonderful. The castle has been lovingly prepared. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves with a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of dishes, a huge dining room and impressive large bedrooms, almost all with their own bathroom. The park encourages walking and sunbathing. We also rented the outdoor barbecue area, which is superbly equipped with many tables, chairs, a refrigerator, light and of course a gas grill! It is quiet and you can only hear the ducks, frogs and church bells. Very romantic and the hosts were always helpful and told us about the history of their property. You have to be able to climb stairs, because there are many of them and since the property is so extensive, you have to be in good shape overall. Didn't bother us at all. The surrounding area is enchanting. In particular, the nearby castle and Brandenburg with its many lakes and rivers invite you to many great excursions. Thank you.
