You can access the cycling trail directly from the yard or go snowshoeing on the ice of Pielisjoki. The ski resort Kontiolahti Biathlon is about 10 km away. The landlord lives next door.

Vuokrattavana hirsimökki erämaisen ja kalaisan Koitere- järven rannalla. Kauniilla mäntykangas-tontilla upea hiekkaranta sekä nuotiopaikka, josta hyvät näkymät järven selälle. Rannan vieressä sijaitsee oma saunarakennus. Rannalla soutuvene, joka vapaassa käytössä. Ranta on matala ja hiekkapohjainen. Mökki ei ole uudenveroinen, vaan ajanpatinaa rakenteissa (60 vuotta vanha) sekä kunnoltaan hyvin vaatimaton.
