Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Johnson County

We booked this house for a bachelor/bachelorette trip with 13 people, and we had the best time. The house is amazing and big enough for all of us to have our own space. It stormed our first night and the power went out. Generator kicked right in, and Marcie messaged me to check on us. Could not recommend more!!

This a beautiful property. We spent a lovely weekend here and enjoyed the setting. It was great for three couples. We used the main house and one of the cabins. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside and sitting by the fire at night. Thanks for a great weekend

Loved staying at Ellen’s beautiful lake home for the weekend. It was very comfortable for all and views of the lake/sunset did not disappoint! Ellen was super quick to respond to questions before and during our stay, so accommodating and pleasant :) Lake of Egypt is one of our favorite spots and we enjoyed going back once again. Ellen’s home is one of the prettiest yet - updated and modern with all of the conveniences + lots of extras with vacationers in mind. Located near the marina for great food, boozy shakes, live music and the water park. We also enjoyed the kayaks provided and hanging out on the large deck of the home, as well as the spacious dock below. Highly recommend this host and home for your next trip to the lake!

JR was quick to respond and friendly. We went there for a fishing trip and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Could easily do 6 people. The porch swing was really comfortable sitting on at night enjoying lake life. The covered pier was awesome! Electric to plug in our boats, lighted and a nice little fish cleaning station. It was a great deal and we hope to go back again soon!!

Our stay was wonderful! With in driving distance of the things we wanted to do but so quiet and peaceful when we got back!

The house is super cute, the layout is so weird but cool. There is a step down from the master bedroom, clear signs that there is a step, but we both fell on our faces haha master bed is super high up, they provide a step stool. This house is not for anyone that cannot handle stairs. It is a workout walking down to the lake and back up. They provide a charcoal grill. But make sure you bring your own starter or fluid. They provide a fire pit but bring your own wood. There is a propane grill but bring your own propane. Only downside was we could not park the truck and boat in the drive way, and had to use the grass. It is not very easy to park a boat trailer in this area. The patio in back was amazing, very cozy. Fell asleep watching and listening to the rain. Kitchen is well stocked with all cookware, lots of condiments left on the fridge from past guests. AND the best part- the sound system!!!! We loved this place and hope to come back soon.

This was the perfect place to stay to explore LowerTown and enjoy Paducah. The space was immaculately clean and immediately felt like a home.

This hideout is what you need to get away from it all. We spent our nights around the fire at peace, just listening to nature. The hideout is cozy & tidy with everything you need, even pet friendly items which was a plus ! We checked out Rebecca’s food rec ( shotgun eddys) after our Hike & the food was delicious!! Def a hidden gem in the area. Thank you for everything Rebecca The hospitality was 10/10. Ps. The snacks came in super clutch during our hike!!

I was surprised at just how big the space actually was. For an upstairs unit, it felt like a whole house. The hot tub was AMAZING! You can hear noises and people around you pretty easily, but it didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed the stay 💕💕

Tammy was fantastic and kind. The place was great for a weekend of turkey hunting and close enough to get to the city to shop and find other things to do as well. We would stay again.

We loved being able to see all of the beautiful wildlife that is on the property and we loved fishing all day on the lake. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We all had a great time.

This is a perfect little cottage near the lake. It had everything we needed, including nice outdoor patio spaces for eating and a big firepit. You can't see much of the lake from the cottage, but it's easy to get to - across a quiet road and down a very long flight of stairs. There's a nice big dock for fishing, swimming, star gazing at night, boating, and just relaxing and enjoying the view (it's a particularly scenic section of the lake because there is no development on the other side of the water - just forest!). We loved having access to kayaks and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would love to return in summer when we can swim and do even more water activities!

This place was fantastic! It had everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings - we felt like we were on a retreat. And yet we were just 30 min from Carbondale where our daughter was graduating from SIU. Hoping to stay here again later in the summer.

Cute house for a couples getaway + Dog Friendly! Hot tub was relaxing, fits 2 people comfortably. Had the AC on when we arrived which was perfect! Bed was comfortable! Owner was very responsive before and during the stay. Friendly, polite and informative. Depending on boat size, might be hard to maneuver. Roads in neighborhood and going to boat launch are not the best. Great location for Ferns Clyffe State Park and Lake Egypt. We enjoyed both. note: no one stayed in the airbnb below us which was nice. Overall, I would stay there again.

Don’s place was absolutely perfect for my husband and I to stay while visiting with family for a wonderful weekend on the lake! Don replied within mere minutes, if not seconds, when we had the wrong door code and promptly provided us with the correct door code. He was beyond helpful and friendly and we would absolutely stay again! Thank you for sharing your fabulous cute home with us!

Peaceful, secluded property. Cabin had everything that you would need and more. Easily one of the nicest Air bnb's we've stayed.

The Hilltop cabin was absolutely amazing! It was clean, cute, peaceful, and made us feel at home. It was exactly what we needed for our weekend get away. Lyle, the host, was extremely proactive, responded quickly, and was very friendly! My husband and I will definitely be back!
