The entire space is a giant playground! The scavenger hunt was a great touch! A perfect retro getaway 🤓💿

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this beautiful air bnb. The view from the hot tub was spectacular! A gorgeous home with lots of fun fishing and areas to enjoy a beautiful walk. The home had beautiful paintings and sculptures. We would love to return!

Can't recommend this place enough. Serene surroundings overlooking the river; watching the barges float by and fish jump was the perfect way to relax. Between the deck, patio, and lower patio, there was always a place to sit and take in the view. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, and location was 15-20 minutes from anything you could need in Peoria. Can't wait to return!

The house is in a beautiful location and has everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation! The lake was so peaceful and the kayaks were nice to go out for a little stroll. We really enjoyed watching the wildlife. But the best part of this house is the POOL!! It is a very large, clean and well kept pool. Our stay it was in the 90s everyday and we spent most of our time outside. My extended family live in the area and this was a great place for us to spend the weekend visiting with them. Thanks for allowing us into your home :)

Kimberly’s school house canyon home was perfect for our stay! My husband and I wanted a home to stay in while we explored Starved Rock and Matthiessen state parks. The school house is perfectly situated between the two parks, and was a comfortable stay in between picturesque hiking. We especially enjoyed the fenced in yard and fire pit for relaxing evenings!

2nd year staying here for my birthday with all my friends and it’s so much fun every time. So much to do while having your own privacy and plans with comfortable rules to abide by. It’s like a new home with a bunch of cool games and amenities, definitely recommend! Great host, leaves you to it and is responsive. Best birthdays ever here.

This apartment was super cozy and warm. Everything was labeled nicely and everything we needed could be found in the kitchen and the bathroom.

Located just off the highway and close to an amazing wine and restaurant - and minutes away from Beloit College! I recommend and look forward to my next stay

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! Charles is a gracious host of an impressive vintage house. The house has real plaster walls, wooden floors and trim. I felt like I was back in my Grandmother's house from the turn of the century (1900's) on the East Coast! If we come back to the area, this will definitely be our first choice.

Lorraine’s place was adorable. The snacks she left made us feel right at home. TV in every room. Kitchen had everything we needed. We were only there for one night . We wish we had more time. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous place to stay, would highly recommend. My niece and I were in the area for a ballet and few days exploring Chicago. Jen's place was a perfect "home base": much less expensive and far more quiet and peaceful than in the city. The garden area was amazingly peaceful - hard to believe we were so close to Chicago. Jen was very nice and willing to provide area recommendations. 100% recommend staying here!

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured in the listing! My dog loved exploring the gravel road and private beach. I enjoyed unwinding from my hectic work schedule, and diving into the books I brought with me to read. I ended up taking a day trip to Hannibal, MO and stopped in Navoo on the way back and definitely want to plan another trip without my dog in tow so I can take more time exploring. Rebecca was quick to respond to any questions I had about the area and with recommendations for places to eat. Her neighbor was there when we arrived and was charming and full of tips for both myself and my dog as well.

Beautiful, thoughtfully designed and appointed home. Loved the 3 season screened-in porch with the woods and ravine behind it. Master bed might be the most comfortable I’ve slept in at any rented property. Host was responsive and helpful and instructions were clear. Highly recommended.

The cabin is a perfect weekend getaway and the setup is perfect for a couple or a girls weekend. Very comfy and tastefully decorated. Loved all of the nature touches throughout including the wall art. Kitchen was well stocked and the gas grill was in excellent condition. Communication was fabulous!

This is the perfect getaway from life for the weekend! So cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Good for the soul. 10/10 recommend.

Audrey’s Abode is truly something special. This isn’t just a cabin—it’s an actual log cabin, full of rustic charm and timeless craftsmanship. The moment we stepped inside, we felt tucked away in a peaceful world of its own, surrounded by countryside serenity. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the cozy quilts to the vintage touches like the stained-glass window and heritage decor. The kitchen had a perfect view of the open fields, and we loved watching the morning light stretch across the farm from the sink window. But the real magic happened at night. The stars were absolutely gorgeous. With zero light pollution, the night sky lit up in a way that took our breath away—constellations stretching from horizon to horizon. We spent a long time just staring up in awe. This stay was a beautiful reminder to slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy life’s quiet moments.
