Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Juneau

Stunning view! We loved the spaciousness, the gas fireplace, and the well-stocked kitchen and coffee/hot water pot. Comfortable and clean! And so easy to get to.

We loved our stay! Highly recommend this quaint Juneau home. Andrew communicated well (he even had suggestions of places in Juneau for us to visit and dine). The home was just right for our family. The kitchen and dining room are beautifully designed and equipped, the living space was cozy (perfect for hanging out, reading, and playing board games). The beds and linens were super comfortable & high quality. The bathrooms were modern and clean (nice deep bath tub for soaking after hiking). The location was a quick drive to downtown and to the grocery store, with ample street parking right in front of the house. Andrew shoveled the walk and steps after a major snowstorm. We enjoyed the ambiance and decor and found everything to be neat and clean and comfortable, including comfy couches and cozy throw blankets. The only item that did not work was the living room gas fireplace, which would have been nice given the cold weather/snow storm.

Kelsey’s place was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. We cooked a couple of meals and the kitchen was fully equipped. Comfortable beds and linens. Spacious house so didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The location was very good as well. Close to town and close to sites like the Mendenhall. Kelsey was very friendly and would send us messages on weather alerts as applicable. We really felt right at home and I would definitely recommend her house to anyone visiting Juneau.

Jeremiah was a great host. Very responsive with great suggestions. Location is great especially is you want to hike and canoe in Mendenhall. Rental was comfortable, we were three adult couples and found this place to be perfect.

What a find! Property is an a fantastic location, we wanted to avoid the cruise ship crowds away from the main town and this was definitely it. A short drive to hiking trails , wildlife spotting, and Fred Meyer. Clean bathrooms, well supplied kitchen, and with the house being slightly older this gives it character.

Had an amazing time at Christopher’s listing! Right on the water and had the most beautiful view with amazing sunsets. Would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable home to stay at. With a wedding we were attending it was nice to come here and feel like we were at home!

Beautiful place! We saw whales, bald eagles, and other wildlife from the living room view. We enjoyed how peaceful the place was and the tucked away location while also still being a short drive to get downtown. Tyler was a fantastic host - very kind, responsive, and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely stay again for our next Juneau trip!

We enjoyed our stay at Three Wolves Den so much. First of all, the view is INCREDIBLE!! The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are very nice. The bathroom is very clean and beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious and the bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The living room furniture was very comfy. We spent most of our time in the dining room looking out the windows at the water. We saw whales every day we were here. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Jackie!

Nice location - easy access to Auke Bay and the valley. Lots of kitchen utensils and well appointed place made it very comfortable for the three of us.

Great location, beautiful scenery of the mountains. Jody was very helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to stay there, and it was clean and neat.

Definitely nice property, and very friendly and considerate host (big shoutout to Molly)! Lots of amenities, and peaceful environment. The city is small, so anywhere in downtown is walkable. The house is close to the Cope park, a beautiful sight to check out. We went there at the end of Sept, among the most rainy times. If you want to go hardcore hiking like the west glacier trail, I will recommend waterproof boots. We met a black bear there! Transportation in Juneau is generally convenient -- buses (remember to bring cash), Uber/Lyft (generally accessible during daytime), and bike rental (to nearby communities like Thane). The weather is very unpredictable, so please prepare more than one plan, and choose one based on the weather. On my last day, it was good in the morning, but rained heavily since afternoon and thus my flight was delayed by >3h. In short, Juneau is an amazing place in summer (especially May-Aug). The city itself is much prettier than Anchorage and Fairbanks.

My guests and I loved our stay at Abby's place in Juneau! The accommodation was super clean, comfortable, and spacious. Abby was a fantastic host, welcoming and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If I find myself back in Juneau, I’ll definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend it!

Thank you for the comfortable stay. I do apologize if my guest left the rooms a bit dirty we had last minute changes to 4am flight. I didn’t have a chance to do my thorough cleaning before we checked out.

What a great time at Janet’s place. It was great to arrive and have snacks/coffee so we didn’t have to run out the next morning but could relax and enjoy the surroundings. Mornings and evenings on the deck with our beverages enjoying the fish jumping, whale spouts, eagles flying, and peace. The steps down to the beach were well worth it. Evenings relaxing in the sauna or soaking tub was just what the body needed. Thanks for the great stay and if we find ourselves in Juneau again we will definitely be staying again.

This Airbnb went above and beyond our expectations. The hosts were super communicative and helpful. The home itself was perfect for our large group. The location was probably our favorite part. With only a 10 minute drive to Eagle Crest and nothing but trees to see from the home, we fell in love. If we are looking for a place to stay in Juneau again this will without a doubt be our first choice.

We were greeted with an artistically curated small home with so much charm. A friendly dog Luna befriended us while we barbecued enjoying the ferny woods and overlooking the gardens and lush landscaping. The nights are long and conversations run deep there in the very private forest. We are an elder couple who greatly enjoyed our adventure in this newest nest.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cohen Cabin! Everything we needed was supplied in the cabin. It is truly a beautiful location! Cozy space that allows you feel reconnected to nature. Annie & Bud were easy to reach and made us feel welcome.

The A frame was so cute and the area beautiful. We stayed here for several nights and felt like we really got to explore Juneau. The guide put together by the hosts was really extensive and we appreciated the suggestions.

Our stay at Jack’s Place–Linda and Ivan’s cabin–was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at home. The cabin–surrounded by natural beauty–was spacious, cozy, and well-equipped, quickly becoming our haven. We enjoyed learning about Ivan’s role in its construction and relaxing by the fire after days of exploration. Visitors should know this is true cabin living in a remote area, with rustic charm and authenticity. Linda and Ivan’s personalized guidance made us feel truly spoiled. They showed us their favorite spots, shared fascinating wildlife stories, and taught us useful techniques for handling our catch. Their enthusiasm and care made each outing special. Wildlife encounters and the pristine wilderness added a touch of magic to our adventures. This trip far exceeded our expectations.
