5 stars! Was a great location! The hosts were friendly and had amazing recommendations. We felt secure and safe, as well as thankful for the wonderful amenities they offered. The pool was amazing and the unit was exactly as described. Everything was clean and quiet. AC was great. Overall just great hosts and place , would 100% recommend!

Our family had the most unforgettable stay at this beautiful home on the Big Island! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The house was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need — from beach towels and snorkeling gear to a fully equipped kitchen perfect for family meals. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee with a view each morning was pure magic. The location was ideal — close enough to explore beaches, and local spots, yet peaceful and private enough to feel like a true retreat. Our hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great recommendations and making sure our stay was seamless. We created memories here that our family will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a home away from home in paradise, this is it! Mahalo for everything — we can’t wait to return!

This is a great place to stay if you are exploring the Kona side of the island. The home is beautiful and well appointed. It was so peaceful and relaxing! We would definitely stay with them again.

Great location we walked every day up and down the strip to different restaurants into the beach other sites Walmart, and Safeway are about a five minute drive or about a 10 minute walk Apartment was a good size in newly renovated

The place was exactly as described. The bed was comfy! The AC was awesome and was great to come back to after a long, hot day exploring Kona. I would definitely stay here if I ever have the chance to visit Kona again.

Francesca's place was the perfect home base for our visit to Hawaii! The place was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable in a peaceful neighborhood. We felt safe throughout our stay even when returning late at night. Check-in/out instructions were clear and communicated well in advance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to anybody visiting the Big Island!

Lorelle was there for us from the start, help to navigate, places to go… Always attentive to what we need. Beach towels and snorkeling gear is there and available to use.

This is an affordable option that is great for tranquility and remoteness, away from the crowds of Kona. It was the perfect stop from Hilo to Volcanos to Kona. Plenty of beach options to keep yourself occupied for a few days in the area. Make note that this does not have a kitchen but James has set up a great grilling space to enjoy the views while you cook and dine. There is a sink in the first floor to help with washing the prep of raw fish/meat and cleaning dishes afterwards. The place was super clean. Beds were very comfortable. And the temps were delightful (in June).

This was hands down one of my favorite Airbnbs in 14 years of using the platform. Lahi’s Ohana is small but incredibly well-designed—you have everything you need. We used the kitchen daily, loved the cozy work nook, and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout, especially the high-quality bedding and modern bathroom. The private patio was the highlight—immaculate, peaceful, and perfect for meals or just soaking in the fresh air. The location is super convenient—only 15 minutes to the beach, airport, groceries, and more, nestled in a quiet hillside neighborhood with dedicated parking. Highly recommend!

A lovely place, wonderful ocean views, great hosts.

As we were checking out, my husband commented that Jennifer's place is one of the most comfortable Airbnb's we've ever stayed in and is the most comfortable in Hawaii (and we come to Hawaii often!). Jennifer has thought of everything to make our stay easy, relaxing and comfortable. From lamps and lights in all the right places, to plenty of hooks in the bathroom. The large walk in shower is divine. But the best was having coffee, dinner, or just hanging on the lanai with it gorgeous view, surrounded by amazing flowering plants and fruit trees. Thank you too, Jennifer, for all the fresh fruit from your garden. The only warning I can give future guests is to NOT use Google Maps to find the place. Each time we put the address in, Google Maps tried to take us down the hill on a totally different road. Go by Jennifer's written instructions.

We had a wonderful stay at James’s place! The home was clean, beautifully maintained, and located in a peaceful area that made it easy to relax and explore the Big Island. James was incredibly thoughtful and hospitable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the island. Thank you again for such a memorable experience!

All clean, calm and quiet, we enjoyed the outdoor shower, it felt exotic to us, which was fun. Julianne was very helpful when our plans changed last minute on the day of arrival due to the weather conditions and arranged an early check-in. Would recommend ☺️

Roberta was a great host!!! The apartment was 8 out of 10 just because on our experience the pillows were to soft and low that was hard to falling sleep and the extra bed was very very uncomfortable. If they change those 2 everything will be excellent. Te be clear Roberta was always helpful and the apartment was very Cousy, well equipped and in an excellent location.

A slice of paradise sums up our unique stay at Anne’s Octagon bedroom and sacred space. Every day was an adventure with geckos 🦎 visiting frequently, just to grace us with their beautiful presence. The incredible ocean views near Caption Cook Monument and surrounding areas were awesome too! We were spoiled by Kona coffee, Papaya, other exotic fruits and fresh tomatoes 🍅 dropped off daily by our Hosts. The night sky was filled with birds singing, crickets 🦗 humming, frogs 🐸 chirping and Organic Nature sounds that sounded like a Forest Meditation making for a very good night’s sleep. What a wonderful place on the Big Island to explore the big island. My son (college age) loved his stay here.

We love this gorgeous home-like place with peace, cleanness, lots of amenities and easy-going owner. We definitely would live again next time visit big island.

As a family of three, we found this place comf, The pool was a nice place to cool off at the end of a hot day. We loved the Lanai and grilled some steaks one night on the common area grill. The Aloha vibe was the best part with friendly staff and tropical bird sounds. Mahalo for many our stay so special!
