Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kamen

If I could give this Airbnb 10 stars, I would! Ana’s villa was the perfect stay for our group of 9. The space is large, spotless, and the backyard is stunning. We loved relaxing by the pool and feeding the cute turtles with fruit and veggies. Ana was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants, and even booking one for us. She also arranged a fantastic driver for airport transfers. On our last night, Ana and her husband, Mate, prepared a traditional Croatian meal for us, accommodating all dietary needs. They even brought a birthday cake for one of our group—such a thoughtful touch! We were truly blown away by their hospitality. We can’t say enough good things about Ana, Mate, and the villa. The villa is fantastic and the local area is quiet but has enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy. Getting in and out of Split is easy and Uber is very good value (do not use local taxis). The standout feature of the property is the outside area including the views. It is easy to access the sea and beach, and the water is beautiful. The only potential to the villa is how it is split across two properties. This was not an issue for us at all, and for some people this may be a bonus, but worth noting.

The place is about a 10 minute walk from the beach/ bus stop to split. Very clean room with a balcony to sit. Tanja and her family were very nice. Highly recommend.

We were there for one night in transit. Zoran welcomed us warmly and was flexible with the arrival time. The apartment has a beautiful garden overlooking the sea. Everything was as described and tidy.

Easy no frills and great communication

We had a wonderful stay here- loved the village and the local restaurants recommended- Marina is very kind and we were able to do our laundry and have a home while in Croatia- it’s a great central location for activities and sightseeing ❤️🇭🇷 we will be back

We loved having a private patio and pool. We used the kitchen a lot and had a great time here. The hosts were super helpful and we responsive. I'd recommend having a rental car here as the road to get here is steep at times. The view was so wonderful and was a big reason we decided to stay here as well.

We had a great time staying at Bozana's place. Great view & close to public transport & shops. Inside the apartment was perfect, we also loved the outdoor patio space. We would love to stay here again next time we are in Split.

Beautiful place. Basically had everything we needed. Uber to city centre cost €5 each time and took about 10-15 mins which was fine. Bus system was available but ubers were just easier. Everything worked fine from the air con to oven to shower. The bed was actually extremely comfortable especially since we were expecting a couch bed with decent comfortability but got a large double bed instead (thank god) Super easy to get in and out of the building and genuinely felt super safe in the area.

Had an amazing week at Shelena with my partner and family. The apartment was beautiful, incredibly clean and had everything we needed and more. The surrounding area has amazing views and shops a short walking distance away. It’s the perfect location if you’re wanting a peaceful stay but still being close enough to the old town and other attractions. The real highlight of this trip was the unbelievable service we received from Stipe’s wife Silvija, she was always happy to help providing us with welcome drinks and a charcuterie board, giving us restaurant recommendations, offering to take us to the supermarket when it was hot and making us fresh tiramisu! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!

We had a wonderful stay – the apartment was absolutely beautiful and Branka had thought of everything we could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and felt like a real home from home. The location couldn’t have been better, with the beach just a few steps from the door. Having the SUP boards available was such a luxury and made our time by the sea even more enjoyable. We also had lovely neighbours, which really added to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Thank you, Branka, for such a perfect stay – we hope to return!

Everything was perfect.

We had such a wonderful stay at Zvonimir’s place in Podstrana! The home was beautiful, clean, and had an absolutely stunning view, the kind you don’t forget. Zvonimir and his family were exceptional hosts: kind, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. One of the highlights was receiving some delicious homemade treats that made us feel right at home. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

Marjan is an exceptional host - kind friendly helpful and communicative. He is ready to help with any question. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a great kitchen and comfortable big bedrooms and gorgeous bathrooms. The pool was great too. The location was good for us and convenient to get to Split or to Omis for activities. We had a lovely time

Loved our stay here and the sea view! Place is very spacious for a couple and we liked the separation of living and sleeping areas across two floors. All the basics were provided and the apartment and amenities (e.g. pool) were super clean upon arrival.

It was a very good place to stay! Beautiful surroundings, close to a beach and with stores within walking distance. Bus connections to central Split was sufficient for our stay, although not the most frequent.

Large apartment, very comfortable, with parking, very close to the bridge to the old town. The hostess is extremely delicate and kind.

We stayed a week at the apartment. Lea and her family were very friendly and helpful. Private beach right outside. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Uber to Split took around 20 minutes and cost 10-15 euro. We had a wonderful time, would recommend!

The Studio flat was really great with everything you need for a holiday. It is very close to Split airport so only 10 minuits by taxi. Enough distance so that there is hardly any aircraft noise. It is literally across the road from the beach. All the beaches have fine slightly sharp gravel so take beach shoes. The Island of Trogir is a 10 minuite bus journey ride away that stops practically outside the door. You can also easily bus to many little beaches with changing places and showers. There are Water sports, buses, water taxis close by and a ferry to Split. The host is really nice, always contactable, very helpful and full of local knowledge. I cannot recommend the wonderful host and her family enough in this perfect location.

This was the PERFECT place to stay in Split. The location was ideal for us — close enough to walk easily to town, but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Easy access to the beach. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a view we will never forget. Igor was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful, and gave us some wonderful recommendations for food and drinks in town! Highly recommend and hope we can make it back someday.

Excellent location. Right next Marjan park. walkable distance to many places including old city and port. Sunny rooftop 1 bedroom appartment is very cozy with all needed amenities. View of the port is a huge relaxing point. Watching cruises and ferries. Waking up with birds, sunrise over the mountains. Love it. And highly recommend.
