Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kamo River

It’s a great place to stay when coming to visit, especially if you have a big group since there’s lots of room.

By far the best stay during our trip to Japan. The accommodation was fun, well stoked, and well kept. We tried to spend as much time as possible in this stay, spinning the vinyl and relaxing. Only regret was we didn’t have more time. Highly recommend to all.

Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!

We had a great stay here! The space was clean and beautiful— simple and elegant. We loved it. Was a bit far from kyoto’s main areas— but just used uber. Loved the space!

Beautiful home!! Loved spending my time in Kyoto at Ta’s home. Perfect location with train station, shopping area, and convenience store all close by. Definitely recommend!

The host was very nice and helpful. The location is a little far from the main Kyoto Station (~35min bus ride). However the area is a residential area so it is very peaceful and nice way to experience living in Japan for a few days.

Spacious house with many beds and a living room with a projector to gather at the end of the day. Close walking to most food and attractions. The host was communicative. I would stay there again.

Kyoto is expensive everywhere, so it was relatively cheap.

Clear instructions. Little hiccups but it was quickly resolved by the host. Place was as per pictures. Location was quite easy to find. Quiet neighbourhood.

My friends and I spent several wonderful days at this traditional house in Kyoto. The accommodation fully matched the description and exceeded our expectations. The house is designed in a classic Japanese style — very clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. What stood out the most was the atmosphere — staying in such a place allowed us to truly experience the culture and spirit of Kyoto. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, yet conveniently located with easy access to public transportation and major attractions. The host was extremely attentive and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We are sincerely grateful for the hospitality and would be happy to return on our next visit to Kyoto.

The only, and ONLY somewhat critical thing I have to say about this place is that it can be a tiny bit difficult to find. However. due to the host’s helpful instructions, we were able to find the place relatively quickly. Beware in the summer, as the walk from Tambabashi station to the house can be brutal in 34 degree heat. But the place itself is gorgeous- very clean, cozy, and homey. The upstairs tea room/area will let you live you your Japanese tea fantasies for sure. And the antique decorations, as well as the wall of Japanese liquor bottles in the backyard area, definitely add a unique historical charm as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to groups of 2-4 people, the price is amazing for what you get. Thank you to the host again, I had an amazing time in Fushimi ward!

The house is private and quiet, the surrounding facilities are also convenient, the subway is about five or six minutes away, and there is also a 24-hour convenience store.Especially the landlord was very friendly!I will introduce Kyoto and recommended attractions, and help pick up and drop off ~ The house is very comfortable. I will stay here again if I come to Kyoto next time!

The place was really clean and comfortable, perfect to spend time with family and everything was within walkable distance, the station and restaurants were so close and staying here made you feel like a local

K/H did an amazing job as a host and making me feel welcome during my stay in Kyoto. Their clear directions made the stay seamless. Noise around the bnb was not as bad as expected ( rail line by the apartment), and it didn’t impact my sleep at all! Thanks again!

I can’t say enough great things about Uzu’s place. It was so clean and comfortable. When we checked in she was very thorough about the house and also about the surrounding areas and places to go. She had a great hand drawn map of the area that we actually used a lot! The traditional beds we chose to sleep in were very comfortable. Everything in the house is labeled which makes it very easy to find things. Uzu went out of her way to show us local restaurants and spots to try. She is a very friendly host that cares about making her guests stays very enjoyable! One thing we found was that it was a bit out of the way of central Kyoto. However, if you want to experience a quiet traditional neighborhood this is the spot! It’s about a 10 min walk to the closest train station or bus stop. The stay at 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門 was extremely homely. The host communicated clearly the instructions to locate it and we were 5-7min walking over from Kyoto Station with 4 luggage. The host was very welcoming, clearing introducing us to all the amenities around the house from the lounge to the bedroom to the washer-dryer. In our two nights stay at 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門, we were able to experience living in a heritage machiya yet enjoyed the convenience of modernity furnishings. We will return to 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門 if we come through Kyoto again, and recommend it to all our friends.
