On the 2nd floor, there is a bedroom, a children's room, an office with a couch (can be used as a sofa bed), and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, all with underfloor heating and oak parquet flooring throughout. On the ground floor, there is a natural stone floor with underfloor heating, a large, light-filled living room with a couch (sofa bed available) and a TV with soundbar, a fireplace, and a large dining table, a kitchen, a guest toilet, and a utility room with heating and a washing machine. Wi-Fi throughout the house with a fiber-optic connection.

Apartment 2 in Oberkaufungen

Our apartment with garden is located in the historic center of Oberkaufungen and directly on a walking and cycling path. It is located in a half-timbered house with a view of the collegiate church and the Kaufung Forest. The tram to Kassel takes about 10 minutes. The apartment is well suited for a family of 4, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. In the apartment there is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, kettle, coffee maker and toaster). Pets are welcome by arrangement and cost 1x 10 euros more.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Located right by the Kaufungen Forest and with very good connections to the Documenta City of Kassel, from here you can access all the hiking and biking trails around Kaufungen and the surrounding area. In the evening, you can enjoy the magnificent sunset on the balcony, with a fantastic view of the natural surroundings.

The newly renovated, comfortable studio is on the ground floor of a traditional half-timbered house (Fachwerkhaus). It offers about 32.00 square meters of living / dining room with sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed, a small fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The studio can be occupied by 1-4 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure good lighting and an attractive view of the quiet, green garden, in which there is a separate seat that belongs to the studio.

Discover our charming 65 sqm top floor apartment! This light-flooded unit offers you a cozy bedroom, an inviting living room with a flexible stacking bed that can be arranged individually, as well as a bathroom with shower and window. In the small kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a small meal. Please note that the roof slope in the kitchen may be a bit uncomfortable for tall people when washing dishes.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

But also hikes in the beautiful Hessian mountains, bike tours or boat tours on the Fulda are worthwhile.

Our small apartment is very quiet on the outskirts of Kaufungen. From the living room and bedroom  if you have a good view, you have a view of the Kassel landmark, the Hercules.  The apartment consists of a bedroom with two single beds and TV. The adjoining room has a well-equipped kitchenette including microwave and small oven. There is a TV, couch, dining area and a bed here. It is possible to set up a 4th bed.
