Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kaukana

It was a little gem in beautiful Scicli! Away from the centre, in a secluded little street where cars were not allowed. Beautiful scenery in front of us, peaceful and only 10 minutes walking from everything. The house was clean and very sweetly decorated. Chiara was a great host, answered to every question very quickly and gave us some useful information.

Our stay at Salvatore’s place was absolutely perfect. It’s one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in all of Italy, and definitely the best one in Sicily. It’s beautiful, well-equipped, and incredibly well-located. There’s parking just a 3-minute walk away and plenty of food options nearby. It’s close to all the main attractions, and Salvatore communicates very well. I’ll definitely be back!

Debora was really kind in all respects, from the beginning with so much patience waiting for us in the house, then giving us very clear instructions as well as taking a moment to have a chat (very friendly I must say). The apartment is beautiful and complete, in person it looks even better than in the photos, I am fully satisfied... we will definitely be back in the future:)

Giovanni and Alessia are two perfect hosts. Friendly and discreet. The house was as described, very comfortable to the beach a few hundred meters away, spacious and recently renovated, with two large terraces. Absolutely recommended, equipped with essentials and air conditioning in all rooms!

We enjoyed a lovely peaceful, quiet and relaxed few days at Andrea’s Olive Country House. Clear instructions from Andrea made getting there by car (a necessity) easy. Andrea met us and showed us through. Well provisioned and all amenities you might need. We enjoyed easy day trips to the many towns/points of interest in the area. Andrea was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere off the beaten track that is quiet and peaceful.

This place is an experience! Living in the old farm high in the mountains, far away from noise and rush. Me and my husband enjoyed the stay a lot! We were visiting nearby towns and beaches, which are easy to reach from Vincenzo’s place. vincenzo himself is super friendly, helpful and attentive - it was a pleasure to get to know him! We would definately recommend this stay to get an amazing experience of life in a Sicilian countryside. We really hope to come back!

Helorus Villa was nice , the peaceful secluded surroundings of lemon tree orchards is very nice but also an easy 5-10min drive to the supermarket and Noto township and 15mins to the beach. The pool area is very nice although not a lot of shade . We stayed in the upstairs villa and had friends staying downstairs which made for nice meals together on the balcony . The Villa was nice , tidy , well equiped , good air conditioning and had a delightful welcome hamper with some basics which was greatly appreciated as we arrived after a long day of travel. Roberto was a very responsive and helpful and the grounds keeper who lives on site but away from the villa and never intruded was also very friendly .

Very nice accommodation in the heart of Ortigia with a very nice roof top terrace.

Rudia's accommodation is a small treasure. We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back. Rudia is a great communicator: she was always quick to reach, had valuable tips for restaurants at hand and was always available for questions. Modica is worth a visit, also to explore Ragusa, Noto and other places of interest in the region. The apartment is very well equipped, quiet, air-conditioned and dark if you like and has a beautiful balcony for mild evenings. In short: this is a great place to spend your holidays.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautifully appointed apartment in Noto. The space was thoughtfully furnished with a perfect blend of comfort and style, and the tile work throughout was absolutely stunning—such a lovely touch that added to the charm of the home. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps away from the heart of town, yet still peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was the terrace: a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or unwind in the evening with views of the rooftops and surrounding beauty. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Noto!

The place was wonderful. You come into the apartment and immediately feel comfortable. Above all, the view is an absolute hit and here can spend a romantic evening with wine and cheese. Even though the roads are a bit narrow for a car and you usually have to look for a parking spot, it's very helpful as the place is very high up. In the evening you like to take a small hike, but especially with suitcases, a car is worth it here. I highly recommend the RAPPA wine bar nearby. We will be back

We had the most fantastic stay - incredible to be overlooking the market. We went everyday and cooked our wares in the lovely kitchen. Apartment is beautifully designed and loved the wine cellar - an unexpected bonus. Double glazing is also excellent- the calls of the market are so atmospheric, but when you don’t want to hear them, you can just shut the windows. Great situation in Ortigia. Responsive check in and support during our stay.

Absolutely beautiful beach location with lovely sand and clear blue waters. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped apartment about 15-20 minutes' walk to the centre of Donnalucata along the beach. We travelled as a couple but would be fantastic place to bring children as sea is calm and fairly shallow. Very responsive host.

This was an amazing place to stay. We spent hours admiring the 180 degree view, so relaxing. The facilities on offer were excellent and the icing on the cake was Santi….what a host ! Never intrusive but always available with ideas and support. The best holiday ever. Grazie Mille.

They say perfect is impossible. Here Maria, the host, has achieved the impossible. The Airbnb is absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful as well, we had a great time relaxing and looking out at the boats. Maria was incredibly hospitable, with a flexible check in and also providing information on the area. Thank you for the wonderful and unforgettable stay!

Such a lovely host. She gave us so many recommendations and was just super friendly! You can tell the host put their heart into the house and the experience, because there are so many thoughtful details that just make your stay so much more pleasant. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This was a fantastic base for our 5 nights in Ortigia - accessible on foot to everything we wanted to do, about 10 minutes from the InCoop supermarket which supplied us well for cooking in the small but perfectly formed kitchen. Lots of thoughtful/artistic touches, from artworks to bathroom and kitchen supplies. A wonderful place to be, great style to the apartment, with a very comfortable bed and fantastic views from all three balconies/out of the bedroom window. Having a washing machine was super-helpful too! Manuel was a very welcoming host, explaining the way things worked and gave plenty of local recommendations plus other local advice. The description is very accurate, including the 65 steps from the street to the apartment- unless this many steps will be an issue for you, I’d highly recommend booking this apartment. If I was ever to return to Siracusa I’d definitely want to stay here again.

Rosa could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries we had. We haven't given 5 stars for the location only because there is a redevelopment of the promenade at the moment in front of the apartment which is not active at the moment, but will take time to complete. It did not disturb us at all but not the best immediate view. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Ortiga more than compensates for that temporary aspect.

Staying in Nicita and Donatella's apartment is like staying at home in Dubrovnik. The apartment, which is located in an old building, has been completely renovated and offers a simple and welcoming environment but with the taste of ancient things. The kitchen, despite being small, is very nice and bright and well equipped. The room is very spacious with a very comfortable bed (mattress with topper) and the bathroom has a spectacular shower. We really appreciated the welcome of Nicita and Donatella who made us find pastry sweets when we arrived and who took a lot to do to provide us with useful tips for our stay (unfortunately short). We were easily able to walk to Ragusa Ibla even at night (we are good walkers) and with the car we were able to quickly reach cities such as Modica, Palazzolo Acreide, Ortigia and the beautiful sea of a natural reserve.
