This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only some steps to the water or ice. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights.

The modern and cozy log villa Villa Joutsensalmi is located in Salmilampi, just a few minutes' drive from the versatile services of Ruka's center. Well-equipped Villa Joutsensalmi creates a great setting for an active holiday in all seasons in the unique nature of Kuusamo. In summer and autumn, hiking and mountain bike trails can be accessed from the nearby terrain. In winter and spring, the well-maintained ski trails and snowmobile trails around Ruka can be accessed from the cottage yard.

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee.
