We had an amazing stay here! Perfect house for our group of 5 adults. It’s in a great location for all the Margate highlights (shell grotto, many great pubs and restaurants, Walpole bay, crab museum!) Really homely, comfortable house with everything we needed. Great outdoor space - loved having a bbq in the patio one evening. Stones throw from an Aldi which was a bonus too. Walk from the train station is so easy - google maps says 20mins but feels much less. Highly recommend for your weekend in Margate!

Beautiful garden. Very quiet location. Nice annex flat with cozy bedroom and very nice bathroom. Only one thing is that you can’t make even fried eggs, because kitchen has no electric hob and no sink. But, that is not a big problem if you can buy takeaway food from the shop or restaurant.

Barry's place for perfect for our night before le shuttle. It has everything we needed and was so nice to have eggs, bacon, cereal and milk supplied as we couldn't take some of things with us to France. thanks so much.

Just a lovely little sanctuary …. Beautifully decorated and just right to use as base in lovely part of the country … garden lovely n secure for dogs ( so that helps with the ‘chillaxing’!!! 😊😊

Peaceful location and gardens, v cosy little place. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, visiting the village and nearby areas; the reservoir, Sissinghurst and Hastings. James and Sarah were very responsive to our questions and requests.

I have stayed with Elizabeth several times before and as always she is a welcoming host, any little problems and she is quick to deal with them. The property is quirky, with slopping roof, kitchen has a combination cooker and airfryer. Fresh eggs are supplied from the free range chickens and ducks. It is in the countryside and at places the roads are single carriage way with passing places, so no rally racing.

My stay at this charming Airbnb in Ashford was absolutely wonderful. The space itself was adorable — beautiful gardens, historic charm, and cozy in a way that immediately made me feel at home. But what truly made this experience unforgettable were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel not just like a guest, but like a truly valued visitor. Their warmth and thoughtfulness created such a comforting atmosphere during my time away from home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay in Ashford with hosts who go above and beyond, this is it. Thank you again for everything — you made my trip even more special!

Had a lovely stay here. Beautiful setting with a secluded terrace perfect for watching the sunset. Super cosy annexe which was well equipped. Thank you very much for all of Aileen’s recommendations - we managed to see a lot over 2/3 days including Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate

We had a fantastic stay. The guests house was fantastic lovely, Clean and peaceful. James was very helpful and provided great instructions for finding the property as well as great suggestions for food and drinks near by. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to friends and family.

It’s all been said before but… it was beautifully presented (top quality fittings, furniture etc), everything thought through for convenience and leisure… it’s like walking through the door to a warm hug! Also the bathroom is luxurious - have stayed in a few nice hotels but never had a roll-top bath ‘experience’ as good as here! The little outdoor area is an absolute haven and looks onto beautiful rolling fields (view that can also be enjoyed from the sofa if it’s drizzly). We were visiting family but I would have been happy to have spent a more time at the property relaxing with a good book etc. Can’t recommend highly enough - Joanna works very hard, but makes it look easy by being so relaxed and welcoming in her manner.

The property itself was perfectly clean and well thought out and had everything you needed. We would have preferred blinds in the living area, as didn’t feel very private, but that’s a personal preference. We did not realise how close to the busy road we would be and that there was a home office attached to the property, but the view definitely made up for it.

Stayed before, will stay again. A lovely little apartment within a 10 min walk to the local beach and some lovely views. Apartment spotless, well laid out and has a lovely courtyard to enjoy the sun and cool evenings.

Perfect location for our visit to Glyndbourne. Spotlessly clean, lovely host and super views.

Just returned from spending 6 days in the Granary, Caroline was super responsive and her directions were easy to follow and accurate. Unfortunately i didn't get to meet Caroline as she was away. The Granary was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The downstairs shower was great, we didn't try the upstairs shower. The location was very quiet and peaceful, but easy to get to where i wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend the Granary.

Lovely getaway, peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature, offering a true break from the rush and noise of London. We especially enjoyed seeing the horses while relaxing outside. The property is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need. The decor throughout is tasteful and welcoming, and the thoughtful welcome basket on arrival was such a nice touch. Thank you again, Debbie, for a truly lovely stay – we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

We stayed at Gabrielle's converted barn a few weeks ago and in a word... amazing. The venue was immaculate and perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the cottage and utilised the field one of the evenings. Gabrielle's husband (never got his name!) was helpful and gave directions to some places in the locality as well as being very happy to show us the field connecting to the garden. A small mention of their kids who were fantastically mannered! If there was one complaint... it would be that this venue is undersold! The green space and reservoirs are beautiful. It's truly a gem and we will be hoping to stay again soon!!!

Perfect location for what we needed. Conveniently situated opposite a lovely pub with excellent food. Looking forward to returning next year.

We had a wonderful stay & were made to feel welcome & comfortable. Bread, milk, granola & marmalade were lovely touches. Lovely furnishes, kitchen & bathroom. Our 2 dogs were very welcome aswell, stunning walks as soon as you open the stable style door, fantastic scenery & farm land. We visited the Rose & Crown twice for yummy food with excellent service & dog friendly. For us this was the perfect stay, thank you xx

Eve was a lovely host and her cottage was exactly what we needed for our New Year getaway. The fireplace and heaters ensured it was always cozy, and the property was located a stone’s throw from the beaches and train station too. We would 100% come back and stay again. Thank you to Eve and her adorable dog Moon!

Superb!! That really sums it up. Clean, comfortable, all amenities new , great view. Hosts went out of their way to provide nibbles and wine and drinks. Didnt feel like a rental felt like a home!! One of the best holiday rents ever

Our stay at Badger's Oast was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable, quiet and right in the middle of a glorious part of the country. Helbecia was an excellent host and we absolutely would recommend this as a place to stay.

I had a lovely few days staying at No1. Barnes Ave. It was exactly what I needed whilst being in Margate for work. Emma was incredibly flexible with my check in time and allowing me to bring my cat as well. Thank you xx
