Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kilkenny

Warm, cosy and welcoming environment in a homely and stylish farmhouse. Elaine is a fantastic host, she gave me a tour of her farm which included two charming donkeys! Elaines pets were great fun and good company in the evenings. I feot like I was at home or visiting a friend or neighbours house. A genuinely wholesome experience. Anything I needed was made available without even asking.

A fantastic place to stay in Kilkenny. Beautiful room overlooking the river. Spacious bedroom with large modern ensuite bathroom. Very generous breakfast options supplied every morning. Niamh and Joe are very friendly and helped with local recommendations and advice. Great location and is only 5 mins walk to the medieval mile. Very close to bars and restaurants. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to everyone. Best airbnb I’ve stayed at.

A very comfortable and cosy cottage, beautifully decorated, part of a traditional family farm. Mags and family made us feel very welcomed. Thank for the lovely homemade bread. The property is some way down country lanes so not easy to find but persevere, its worth it for the peace and rural setting. Inistioge village is very attractive and offers local walks; it is a few minutes by car. There are also walks from the property. For supermarkets, local services and all sorts of places to eat New Ross is nearest. Lovely countryside, well worth exploring which we shall aim to do another time.

Carol and Ian welcomed us with such special hospitality. They were so generous and helped us out when we were in a sticky spot. The room is great, huge with ample space and own bathroom. You really felt at home in their space. In a beautiful location close to nearby town and Waterford. Would absolutely recommend to anyone passing through!

Nicky responded quickly & enthusiastically, but it was her mum, Janey, who really made the experience for me. The house is set on a lovely working horse yard with friendly dogs. Both Janey & Nicky were lovely to talk to, I felt like I was at home. WiFi could be a bit weak in parts of the bedroom but it was not an issue at all. After all, the house is in the countryside. If you’re lucky enough to have Janey’s soda bread, you’re in for a treat. Felt like visiting a family friend rather than an airbnb.

Shirley hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, mein Mann hat sich über die frischen Plätzchen gefreut. Sie konnte uns auch eine wirklich tolle Lokalität empfehlen ( 10min mit dem Auto entfernt), in der wir sehr gut und günstig gegessen haben. Morgens gab es ein gutes Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Brot und guten Tipps für unsere Weiterreise. Vielen Dank Shirley Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei euch buchen! Viele Grüße Steffen und Aileen

Hôte très accueillants, soucieux de notre confort que ce soit à notre arrivée ou pour le petit déjeuner ! Très sympathiques, avec qui il est facile de discuter malgré la barrière de la langue. Un petit déjeuner typique Irlandais qui nous a beaucoup plu et un confort certain ! Une qualité de service au top ! Nous recommandons sans aucun doute le logement d'Helen et son mari.

We were warmly welcomed. It's rare to find a host with so many years of professional B&B experience, which is evident in the attention to detail, right down to the bible in a drawer - once a mainstay in guesthouses and hotels. Immaculate, and spotless. The small comforts, and accessibility to local sights, that many international visitors look for, are there. There's a spacious bathroom and well proportioned bedroom with wardrobe and room for two cases. Large comfortable bed, extra pillows, plenty of towels. We wanted for nothing - including at breakfast in the adjoining dining area, when Helen provided delicious cooked meals and more. She very much engages and cares for those under her roof. We left the car parked in her carpark during our stay. From her home it's a short walk into the historic precinct of Kilkenny for food, shopping and historical exploration. Helen also provides tips for dining, sightseeing, a map, and there are now, informative tourism pamphlets. Thumbs up!

Jean nous a accueillis très amicalement, nous venions d'atterrir à Dublin 3 heures avant et la chaleur de ce premier contact nous a réjouis. Toutes la prestation était impeccable, conforme à la description, mais en mieux ! Literie confortable et douillette, propreté remarquable, copieux petit déjeuner irlandais.. Merci Jean, c'est un très bon souvenir !

We had an amazing stay with Helen and Gerald (and Peppa and Astro 🐾). The property is just gorgeous, and is listed on the Wexford garden trail. Gerald was happy to show us around the veggie garden and apiary, and had great stories about his family's history with the house! Breakfast was a highlight, with a continental course, including homemade preserves and honey, followed by a full Irish buffet. All around, a perfect country stay!

Where do we start…this was our first stop in Ireland after a long trip from Toronto and Agnes went above and beyond to make us feel right at home, her hospitality is outstanding, the house is immaculate inside and out!! We felt like a King and Queen with the service of an awesome Irish breakfast!! The knowledge Agnes shares about the area is incredible, we wished we could have stayed longer but we know we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience you certainly deserve 10stars if we could give you them!! This place should be on everyone’s bucket list! Glenn and Mo

Martina ci ha accolto bella sua bellissima Casa, circondata da un incantevole e affascinante giardino. La stanza a nostra disposizione era pulita, ampia e molto luminosa, arredata con gusto e accogliente. La prima colazione è stata fantastica. Martina è una host molto accogliente e una persona molto interessante. Grazie!!!!!

Esperienza magnifica. Laurence e la moglie sono due persone deliziose ed ospitali. Disponibili per qualsiasi necessità e consiglio. La camera è molto grande ed accogliente. La casa si trova fuori dai centri urbani in una posizione incantevole e strategica per visitare diverse località interessanti. Super consigliato.
