Beach house holiday rentals in Kilmory

What a wonderful place. I have been coming to the island since I was a boy and this was the first year I could bring my own child to enjoy the most magical place. The house is perfect. A stunning location, clean, warm and spacious. We had a wonderful week and made some truly special memories. We will return!

The cabin was superb, although the midges came out to play every day. You can avoid the worst of them by avoiding dawn and dusk, & using Smidge and Citronella candles. The hot tub was a must although it does take a little getting used to. My tip would be to give yourself plenty of time, use decent quality dried birch logs and use the bubbles to mix the water regularly. Keep an eye on the temperature as it can get REALLY hot. The cabin was great for spotting wildlife - we saw Ospreys, and had a spotted woodpecker eating off the bird feeders, though sadly no red squirrels. One thing worth a mention is that there is a SMALL fish farm just 'round the corner on the Loch. This might put some off, but the Loch was lovely and clear and we swam and paddleboarded without incident. Clachan Inn in Dalry well worth a visit, but be prepared for a very laid back evening - they aren't in a hurry but the food is worth waiting for.

Place looked just as in the pictures, and weather was perfect so it was ideal. Couldn’t find many options for a short trip away from the city in Scotland with 3 double bedrooms, nice location and good price - this ticked all boxes.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The house is beautiful and in a great location right next to the water. Everything is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The views over the water are so relaxing. The Kilcreggan cafe and The Creggans pub serve lovely food. The decking area outside is great to sit and relax. Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend Beach view cottage. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location is also ideal for staying on the beautiful island of Gigha - an easy short walk to the beach, Achamore gardens or for a drink at The Boathouse. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Andrew's place is superb. He met us with a warm welcome and then we were shown our room which has the most incredible view out across the garden and the sea to the Holy Isle. Everything you need is provided for --extremely comfortable bed, very well supplied kitchen and a sparkling bathroom. For me one of the priorities in choosing an air b n b is that it should be accessible for me as a disabled person. Andrew's place fits the bill as i was able to easily access the 2 steps at the front of the bungalow on my sticks and then, again easily, transfer to using wheels around the property. Thanks again Andrew!

The park itself is a 1 way system and the caravan was quite high up. However we stopped to speak to groundsmen on site who straight away said follow me I’ll take you to the caravan. All staff were lovely. The caravan was as described. Very homely and modern. The outdoor space is amazing with lovely rattan furniture and hot tub. We used the hot tub everyday and it’s big enough for 6 people. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side all week so we didn’t dine outside. However I would definitely return. We had a slight issue with heating the first night. Lisa was back and forth messaging and said she would contact staff at reception to rectify the next day. However this was sorted over text in the end. An amazing stay, great views across the water. It was beautiful x

Jason and Mairi were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay always ready to assist and make sure everything was perfect. The house itself was so welcoming and cozy, the view from the living room is amazing. Thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials we could possibly need. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful walks right on the doorstep. Highly recommends them.

Maureen & Thomas Your house made our adventure very enjoyable! It was spotless and very comfortable, it just felt as if we were in our own home. Instructions were clear and we loved the tips given in the house booklet. My son couldn’t resist and devoured the lovely treats you’ve given us. Glenarm is a lovely part of the world and, as it was our first time in the area, we decided to visit the castle walled forest and the forest garden (dogs allowed in both) my child loved riding in the Land Rover experience. We also had nice walks around the town, beach, harbour, and a good drive around. We had a very happy family weekend and your place helped massively to keep us well rested. Many thanks for all. We had a really lovely stay in Shandon. The house was nicely presented and in a peaceful location with beautiful views—such a relaxing spot to unwind. One unexpected highlight was spotting a submarine out on the water! The hot tub was a real treat too, especially in the evenings. A great base for exploring the area and enjoying some quiet time by the coast.

Well worth a stay! Marco was very flexible when we arrived after 5. The house is beautiful and he provided us with milk and crisps for our stay. Beautiful scenery and lookout over the Firth!

Great house right on the sea front has a lovely private sun trap out the back for days when the sun shines beds are very comfortable house exceptionally clean has the benefit of being close to town center for all shops and cafes and if wanted there is a lovely pub 1 min walk away

Geraldine’s place was perfect for our stay . It’s a beautiful home , I couldn’t fault anything and so handy , it’s within walking distance of the town, beach and the ferry terminal to Arran . It was exactly as described . Geraldine was also so quick to respond to any query we had. Genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Absolutely amazing property. Beautifully decorated and very homely. The house was so well equipped with everything you could need. Situated in a perfect setting, very short walk to restaurants and pubs. Also lots of lovely walks very nearby. The host was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Accommodation was in a great location with on street parking close to the town centre. All bedrooms were well proportioned with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of glasses, tableware and cutlery. Overall the accommodation met with our expectations.

Adrian was really helpful and friendly - very kind when our son was stung by a bee! The house was exactly as advertised and perfect for what we needed with our three children and dog. It was spacious and well equipped. The views were stunning from the house, especially in the evening sunshine on the terrace. The sheep in the neighbouring garden were loved by our children. Beautiful walks to waterfalls and the loch nearby. We enjoyed our halfterm week visiting family, national trust house, Loch Lomond, Glasgow and beyond. Great location for exploring this part of Scotland.

Monica’s house exceeded our expectations! Location is perfect and the enclosed garden got the sun all day and was perfect for our dog Daisy to relax in. We loved this Airbnb so much. The area brought back such super memories for me as my wee Mum lived at the top of the street many years ago. The house is perfectly appointed with everything needed for a great stay. The big kitchen and spotless bathrooms, the lovely garden, and cute bedrooms are super. The proximity of the train, bus, airport, shops, pubs, restaurants and last but not least …the beach ….are excellent. The sunset last night 200% !!!!! Yes … book this beauty spot now. It is wonderful and the host is very responsive. Thank you John we can’t wait to come back !!!

This bungalow was absolutely awesome! So well stocked and spotlessly clean. The kitchen had every possible utensil anyone could need (although we ate out every day!!). This was our first experience of AirBnB and we were slightly apprehensive, but we didn't need to be. Thank you Georgie for providing such a lovely base for us to explore the beautiful island of Arran.

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. A beautiful property in a peaceful location with all the amenities you need. We were so lucky to have a week of non-stop sunshine and the garden was the perfect place to soak that up from morning to late evening. Less than a 10 minute drive to Rothesay with a great selection of shops and restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay in Kate’s beautiful home! Clean, tidy & very homely! Plenty of space for 8 people to stay and not feel on top of each other! Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be back!

Booked well in advance for a local wedding, host kept us informed and when we arrived the accommodation was as described, colourful, clean and charming. Disaster averted when one of our party dropped their dress shirt on the ground! Everything there to have it cleaned, dried and ironed in 2 hours. All the touches were nice and made it feel like a home from home. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again when back in the area.

The house was excellent, everything you could need and more, with lovely extra touches including welcome gift, plenty chargers, games, the list goes on. My son loved the jigsaws and they made a golf course on the back green. Very dog friendly and great contact with Claire. Less than 5 min walk to the extensive beach and 2 mins to nearest corner shop, chippy and breakfast butty stores! Highly recommend.
