We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Firkin Lodge. Such a beautiful place, clean, tidy and the extra little touches were perfect. We had dinner at their pub next door also, the food was delicious and easily affordable Would 100% go back in a heartbeat.

The place if you want a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by the best of the Suffolk countryside. We had amazing weather for our one night stay. The bath was brilliant (takes a while to fill, bear in mind). The cabin was cosy and homely. I can imagine a winter stay would be equally wonderful. Being a Sunday evening and wanting a more substantial meal than was available at the closer (and offering food), we walked the The Poachers Pocket. About 1hr 10 mins at a leisurely pace along quiet lanes and bridleway. Looked like there was all you'd need to cook at the cabin and a large fridge. Would recommend to family and friends.

What a beautiful place, a true hidden gem. The lodge is clean, comfortable and spacious such a great place to relax and unwind. The view from the decking is so pretty and ever changing. Always so much wildlife to see. The hot tub is an added bonus, great for watching the beautiful sunsets. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the owners have made sure that the lodge is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back. We didn't buy passes for the on site entertainment this time, but we will next time. The site is really clean and well set out and there is lots to do. Local to the site is RAF Coningsby , we were lucky to see the Battle of Britain memorial flight flying low over the lake and the lodge. We also saw lots of typhoon jets. I would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A wonderfully cosy place where we were able to truly unwind. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the peaceful sounds of birds and nature. The house itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The jacuzzi was an absolute treat – a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We really appreciated the attention to detail, and felt right at home.

Thank you for the most wonderful stay! The lodge is so relaxing, with the park being peaceful despite being busy with guests. We loved how modern and clean the place was and the hot tub was amazing!

What a gem! Wonderfully relaxing break full of nature. Stunning location and views. We loved exploring the coast and places of interest nearby. Had a campfire under the stars and relaxed in the hot tub when we weren't absorbed in monopoly! Will be visiting again, thank you.

Our stay at Julie and Pauls was exactly what we needed as a family. Downtime for us and fishing for the kids. Seeing the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane flyiver was an added bonus as they are based very near by at RAF Conington. The accommodation is excellent, absolutely spitless and the beds were really comfortable. Highly recommend.

I could actually live here, it was so peaceful, (possibly not the case if there was a event going on,) beautiful garden pond area, would love to see inside the windmill, clean, fresh interior, planted area around the hot tub, enough wood left for our stay as this is a wood fire heated hottub, which was clean, fresh and well maintained, shower room was clean and tidy, bedroom was alittle awkward to get to for a larger man like myself or for anyone with mobility issues but it was a lovely little nook once up the little staircase, there was another group on site but because of yhe pods positioning couldnt hear them at all. A very nice place to stay and would recommend it for any couple. Oh and the sofa pulls out for a sifa bed aswell I needed to use it as getting up into the bedroom was a little tight,

Very well equipped, clean and spacious place. Beautiful and quiet surrounding. Interesting places to see like hanstinton beach within 50min drive. Great butcher and farm shop within 10 min.

Wow- what can I say. The view of the lake is amazing. Fire too. I’m definitely booking again. In fact I could live there. 😀

We had a lovely time at Natalies lodge. The surroundings were beautiful and really peaceful and it felt very safe for our little girl to play out the front. Close to the local village of Weybourne and the holiday park. All very lovely - many thanks for having us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Adrian’s cabin. The vineyard is stunning to wake up to and very peaceful. The cabin has everything you need, and is well kitted out. The local pub was great and we enjoyed some nice ales/cider! We spent Friday afternoon wine tasting with Adrian which was lovely and really insightful, and as part of our experience he provided a large picnic to take away and enjoy on our balcony. Thank you Adrian, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Jean and Brian were perfect hosts. They were present but discrete. A beautiful loaf of homemade bread, eggs, butter and jam were a very welcome treat. The premises were spotless. The grounds were beautiful, many little visitors were present: a couple of hares joined the ducks, bird, rabbits and moorhens. Although we don't fish, we were reliably informed that there was carp to be caught. The ser up looked very chilled but we'll maintained. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Partner, Labrador and I stayed in Laura's cabin for a few days, as a mini escape from work. Secluded in the back corner of the Host garden we had our cosy abode. Idyllic area, with plenty of footpaths and walks to explore, and not a single neighbour or road bustle to interrupt the sound of the woodland! A lovely place for a short break, and well placed for enjoying the area.

Fantastic lodge in beautiful surroundings . Lisa goes above and beyond to ensure the perfect getaway. The lodge is immaculate and the basket of goodies left for us was amazing, hubby really enjoyed the fishing I loved kicking back and relaxing on the deck with a brew. We would love to return as soon as we can and cannot recommend Lisa and Andy’s lodge enough.Thank you for having us Lisa you certainly are are a super host Karen,Will and Milo xx

We had a lovely stay at Pepperwood pods, the check-in instructions were clear and we had a wonderful time celebrating my partners birthday. We were offered to check-in earlier for £20, which I think is a bit expensive so we turned this down. The hot tub was fab and kept warm the whole time - would definitely stay again!

A lovely place to stay, big, beautiful and with two massive south facing doors. We had a lovely time. The property was very modern and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!!

Liz was a fantastic host- so friendly and helpful. Finding the location could have been challenging, but she was more than accommodating to make sure we found the AirBnB after a long drive/arriving at night. The place was clean, just like the photos. Liz was a lovely host to communicate back and forth with- and she was even generous enough to allow a late check-out. Would highly recommend staying here!

A peaceful spot close to the beach. Very clean and well kitted out little chalet. Perfect for a couple of days (or longer) by the sea. Lots of things to do in the local area. We would definitely stay here again.

The lodge was beautifully decorated and pristine. It was perfect for our weekend away. Julie was very friendly and helpful and we even received a thoughtful gift basket. Thank you both for a wonderful stay! We can't wait to come back. x

We had a nice stay in the Bothy, tastefully decorated. Friendly hosts. Nice nature, beach, towns and meals in the area - in particular at The Hero pub! Also Bang in Well for breakfast. Note that some may not enjoy using the ladder to the loft bed.

Had a wonderful stay at the little reef lodge. It was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Everything was perfect, peaceful and quiet. Very doggie friendly also, get all round trip for all the family.

Myself and my two children had a lovely time at the pod. Perfect for what we needed, lovely site too with clean facilities and a great park for the kids to play in, would recommend and visit again, thank you. 😊
