ABBOTT'S REST- A Definitive Safari Tent

ClaireRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We really enjoyed our two night stay at Abbotts Rest, we wished we had been able to stay longer. The place is beautiful and secluded and the private outdoor bathroom was really nice to have. Tim is a great host and there's plenty of great details in both the Safari Tents and on the campsite as a whole. Highly recommend.

Ambers Bell Tents at Mannington Hall North Norfolk

PeppyRating, 5 stars34 months ago
We had a most relaxing, happy time with our extended family in such a perfect setting amongst nature. We even got to hear the night cries of a barn owl and night jar. The sauna and firepit were put to good use. Amber met our needs with amiabIe efficiency. I liked the fact no cars were permitted in the field. It all made the experience one to be repeated again.

Bell tents at Top Farm. Near Aylsham, Norwich

HannahRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a lovely weekend at Top Farm. It was mine&our 3 year olds first camping trip, my partner is a keen camper! We eased ourselves in with a stay in one of the bell tents. Judith&Clive are great hosts, Judith was great at communicating even prior to our stay. And we had a lovely friendly welcome from Clive who was keen to help us any way he could. The bell tent was positioned so we could see the sun setting over the heath. It was clean and cosy. You can take a lovely stroll around the beautiful farm land which my daughter loved exploring. The campsite is relaxed&peaceful. All the basic utensils you need are provided. The showers&toilets were regularly kept clean,&the showers were warm with a good pressure. The campsite is in a great location, a short distance from a lovely market town called aylsham. We used the well signposted cycle path onto Aylsham a couple of times to visit this lovely town including the black Boys in (great food) and bread source (great coffee). We recommend!

Me and my family had a great time! It was a different experience for us. The area is quiet and very accessible to the shops if you forget something. The town centre is 10mins drive so you can also hangout there. I highly recommend the place for people who like to have a nice quiet break!

Glamping in a long grass meadow with flower drifts

CarinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful one-night stay in the glamping tent and absolutely loved it! The location is gorgeous — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing escape. The tent was super clean, beautifully set up, and had everything you could wish for in a glamping experience. It felt cosy, well thought-out, and just right for a romantic getaway. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Lakeside bell tent with beach 3

AishaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
So pleased I stumbled upon Niki and Dean's listing! Dean gave us very clear instructions to help us find our way. Check-in was quick and easy, and we received a very warm welcome. We were instantly blown away by our surroundings, accommodation and the facilities available during our stay. Everything was spotless, easily accessible and just so cool! My personal highlight was taking our very own little rowing boat out onto the lake, while my fiance loved going for a swim. We finished the evening off with a BBQ on the firepit down on our stretch of beach - perfect. Our tent was gorgeous inside and the bed was very comfy. The toilets- inside and out- and shower were close by and very clean. We had our own shelf to store food in the outside fridge, as well as a range of cutlery, utensils and other kitchen items. We'd actually come prepared with paper cups and plates, so this was a pleasant surprise! Absolutely delighted by the chickens running up to greet us in the morning!

Sunseeker Tent - Deerfield Retreat

JekaterinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a truly delightful stay in the tent – a perfect little escape into nature. The setting is wonderfully peaceful, with birdsong all around and a beautifully maintained field with lush green grass. The tent itself was tastefully decorated, very clean, and the tog kept us cosy and warm throughout the night. The BBQ area beside the tent was thoughtfully set up and had everything we needed for a relaxed evening. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating a welcoming and comfortable space. The only small thing we’d have loved is a shower closer to the sauna, but otherwise everything was spot on. A lovely experience overall – highly recommended!

Country Cottage Bell Tent - Glamp @ the Priory

CharlesRating, 5 stars34 months ago
We stayed in the dog friendly country cottage tent. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped including USB chargers. The shower was better than most I’ve encountered over the years in wilder camp sites. Gavin, the host, is a great communicator, does what he says he will do and if you don’t go for his breakfast basket then wow you miss out. He could not be more attentive in helping his guests whilst being utterly discrete. Next time we go we will ask for the bbq pack too. The other guests were really friendly and although we were only there one night we would have loved to stay longer and we will definitely return, my children will see to that for sure. 5* from us.

What a wonderful stay. We know this part of the Norfolk coast pretty well but we're so pleased to have discovered this place to stay. The venue has so much to offer, beds were super cosy with especially on a chilly April evening. Really recommended.

Hawthorn-Broadwash Farm,Luxury Glamping, Hot Tub

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cannot recommend this haven of a place enough! We were met in the carpark by Paul (Max’s lovely dad!) such a friendly, kind man that drove us to our bell tent. It’s was beautifully positioned and offered so much privacy. The tent itself was really well decorated and the bed very comfortable, temp great, furnishings lovely. The hot tub, bbq and fire pit were just perfect for the most romantic weekend! The full kitchen is such a bonus in its own cabin with shower room! We enjoyed southwold 40 mins away and 20 mins walk through the farmland to the grain brewery which was awesome for local ales / beers / local music and food trucks. A wonderful weekend, perfect for those looking for an upgrade on glamping! We will be back!

Hawthorn Retreat, Glamping, Lincolnshire Wolds

BenRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely remote location, our kids loved watching the owners horses in the paddocks beside the tent. Was provided with plenty of wood for fires and the outside fire bowl was lovely to sit and watch at night. The tent is off grid but the owner provides battery packs for the lights and for charging devices which are changed daily. They also provide ice blocks daily for a large cool box. The accommodation is down a long lane, accessed through Tetford village, our satnav tried to take us through a farmers field so be mindful. We would definitely return here, it’s close to lots of places (Gunby Hall, aviation museum and the coast) as is really peaceful.

Wild Retreat Norfolk

MarinRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anna's Wild Retreat with my family of 4 (incl 2 teenage boys), and it was a great experience. The yurts (1 for sleeping/chilling, 1 for dining/chilling) are incredibly comfortable and spacious, offering more than enough room to relax and unwind. The setting was absolutely stunning, nestled in a beautiful location with easy driveable access to various beauty spots in Norfolk (most famous beaches are approx 45 mins drive away). So whether you’re looking to explore the coastline, wander through charming villages, or simply enjoy the peaceful countryside, this is the perfect base. Anna also has various games/outdoor equipment to enjoy time at the site. Make sure you try the food provided by the host (request the menu). Every meal was outstanding, showcasing local ingredients and prepared with great care. It added a wonderful, personal touch to our stay.
