Cottage holiday rentals in Kingsbridge

Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay.The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

What an amazing stay! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage had everything we needed and also some nice personal touches too. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub, listening and watching the birds . The weather was a little unsettled for us but not a problem, as we could sit in the summer house, and look out at the lovely view and our neighbours the sheep! Claire was very responsive with messaging and will look forward to visiting again soon. 🙂

Had a lovely few days away. Chris' cottage is very peaceful and had amazing views whilst relaxing in the garden. The cottage itself is very clean and homely. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking to come to Devon.

Booked this house for a hen do. It was beautiful - the photos really do not do it justice. The cottage was pristine, had everything you needed. It was decorated tastefully, and was the perfect setting for a group of hens for the weekend!! The Cary Arms who manage this property are amazing hosts - so proactive, friendly and accommodating to the many many requests I submitted including having an ice bucket on hand for arrival, extra prosecco flutes for drinks, flexible check in. The only word of warning is the very steep road the cottage is located on. It’s not for the faint hearted!! But they are so helpful in moving cars for you where required. We finished the weekend at the spa which was just what the doctor ordered!! Followed by lunch at the inn which was delicious. Overall a wonderful team and house!! Great memories made this weekend and our bride was over the moon

We had a lovely stay in the cottage, perfect for attending a wedding nearby. The cottage was clean and tidy, the description and amenities were as listed. The beds were comfortable and cottage had a cosy feel. Judith was very helpful and responsive, thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage ☺️

Thyme cottage was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The cottage is characterful and comfortable and well equipped. The fireplace was a wonderful, warm touch. The village of Woodbury Salterton is charming and friendly and close to Exeter. The Diggers Rest is a must! Stop in for a friendly pint or even better for a meal. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Thyme cottage will be among our top stays.

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful countryside cottage. The setting was tranquil and relaxing—perfect for a quiet getaway. Katie was a fantastic host—very welcoming and thoughtful. She even popped in to check that everything was okay and assured us we could reach out if we needed anything. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a calm and cozy environment!

Ben's cottage was stunning — we loved every moment of our stay. If it were possible to give 6 out of 5 stars, I would have. The surrounding area was breathtaking, we enjoyed wandering through the fields and visited the vineyard, where we sampled some fantastic wine. There were also some excellent local pubs close by, all serving delicious food. Everything felt convenient, peaceful, and just perfect — there wasn’t a single thing we could fault. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Thank you Luke & Beccy for a great few days. We needed to relax but still have amenities around us. You were right, we didn’t need to move the car once it was parked. I know we could have travelled & explored but it was more about relaxing in a home from home.

Veronica was a great host, good communication and helpful with information before and during our stay. The cottage was as advertised and was perfect for the 3 of us. Location was less than 10 minutes to Brixham and the cottage was in a quiet location.

What a treat! We had a 4 night stay in this beautiful house where every last detail has been thought about to add to your enjoyment and comfort. Everything was first class, very comfortable beds and pillows, spotless bathrooms with proper size towels, plenty of good cutlery and tableware, utensils for cooking if you wanted to cook. The house was a delight with lovely deep sofas overlooking one of the balconies to the ever changing landscape of the waters beyond. It would be hard not to enjoy whatever the weather throws at you! This absolutely charming cottage is in one of the most beautiful locations in the UK, bar none. Walk/run straight from the garden with your family/dog on to the South West Coast Path and you can meander along the coast for miles in either direction, its perfect! The cottage, while remote, has everything you need, gorgeous bedrooms with sea views and a great pub & cafe roughly 20 mins walk away (uphill). We will definitely return and are already looking forward to doing so.

We had a wonderful few days with our children. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful accommodation, beautifully situated in the countryside from where we explored Dartmoor, the beaches of Devon and great towns such as Dartmouth. We had a very pleasant time and are delighted to have been able to stay with Kirsten.

Great cottage and great location for exploring the local area and beyond. Cottage has everything you could need to make it feel home from home. Internet is provided through a Starlink so super fast with no issues whatsoever. James is available at a moments notice via mobile or Airbnb should you encounter any problems which we didn’t. Located in a lovely little hamlet with very friendly neighbours who also leave you alone so very private. Lovely area to sit out of an evening and watch the local wildlife doing their thing. We’ll absolutely be back!

We are a family of 5 (children age 7, 5 and 2). We had a great stay - Julie very informative and thought of everything for us. Our children loved their bunkbeds - especially with enormous boxes of lego and brio train tracks in their bedroom. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. We enjoyed watching the ducks, chickens and wild rabbits playing in the sunshine. The kitchen had everything we needed and we felt we had plenty of space. We would definitely return.

Very comfortable place with spectacular view over the ocean (the sunset!). Unfortunately we had to shorten our stay and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to make the evening meals at the house which was convenient as we were travelling with a baby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stancombe. As soon as we arrived it was so quiet and peaceful. Even though it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere there is so much to do locally. The facilities and the property and very well equipped. The kids had a fantastic stay. A few of our highlights were Blackpool sands, the steam train from kingswear to Paignton and woodlands leisure park. I would definitely recommend this property on to other friends and family.

Lovely accommodation and quiet, pretty location close to some great places and a quick drive to Totnes. Photos don’t do it justice. Spacious, serene and well thought out. A pretty garden and exclusive use of the parking right outside. Lovely hosts who gave a warm welcome but otherwise felt a very private stay.
