Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kingsbridge

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. We actually only rented the property for a day to do a photoshoot for our business, so we didn't stay over. However we wished we were. It's a really cool house, much bigger than I was expecting. Would be a great place to stay with friends or family, plenty of space to gather and hang out. It was actually pouring with rain when we were there but the house felt really cosy and airy and spacious. I felt like if we were on holiday and it was raining it would be a great house to hang out in not cramped and stuck inside.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

We recently stayed at Amy and Luke's property for four nights and had a wonderful time. Everything was as described and the beds were very comfortable and the duvets big and fluffy. Whilst there isnt parking available at the property, there are lots of on street parking, or car park options, nearby (although it seems the council have just put up the prices for most of these!). There are also stair gates at the property which were very handy for stopping my inquisitive dog from exploring the upstairs terrain. it was also very helpful to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Will definitely be booking again next time we plan a Kingsbridge trip!

Thank you for arranging the beds as we requested. We were extremely comfortable and all slept well. I hope everything was left to your standards. The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

This is a very special spot. The farm is made up of the main house and several beautifully converted stone barns with generous balconies overlooking a stunning field and river. They are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and homely spaces that show the real care and thought of the owners who have done all the work themselves. The pool is amazing, with rotating 2 hour slots given to each barn every day. We would love to stay again and would recommend it to friends and family in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay at Lesley’s. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the local areas. The caravan was spot on, lovely and clean and we were very grateful for the little hamper and milk when we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and we particularly loved all the fleecy blankets for that extra cosy touch. Thank you Lesley. Would 100% recommend and stay again

Toby’s place is a lovely holiday lodge on the Honicombe holiday park. It’s in pristine condition and the hosts, Kevin and Tina, were lovely going above and beyond to make it a great stay. It’s well located for exploring Dartmoor and Cornish coast. Our favourite beach was Tregantle and we also enjoyed the Merrivale stones. Honicombe park is great for kids with use of an indoor and outdoor pool that come free with the cottage, a pub offering good value meals and loads of play areas.

A lovely little cottage in beautiful surroundings, if you're looking for a quite peaceful break or a base to explore it is ideally situated, Sarah was a very helpful and responsive host, would definitely stay again.

Yet again we had a fantastic break in this great holiday home. This is our third visit and ready to book again for next year (if they will have us ) lol. Keep up the great job in hosting that you both do so well, and thanks again Ted.

Danny’s home is in an ideal, rural location, set back on an expansive lawn overlooking the sea on one side, hills with grazing sheep on another, and just beyond an amazing view of Plymouth. Beautiful! Directly across the street and down a short path is The Cliff Top Cafe, a great place to get a bite to eat and take in the amazing view. The home is very comfortable and clean and has everything needed to enjoy a peaceful getaway. To me, the best part of the experience was definitely the location. It absolutely does not disappoint. Views, views, views and soft sounds of sheep calling out from the hillside. Very special. Thank you Danny. We will never forget our first stay in the UK.

Amazing place, John is a really friendly host. its very quiet place which was good for our dog with a big garden. Really good location if you want something out of town but its close with a 15 minute drive and only a 30 minute drive to Salcombe.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge on Mary Mills Farm. It was very calm, peaceful and private with beautiful views. It looks a lot nicer than the pictures. Would definitely go back.

What an amazing find , great value , super hosts . The creamery is a beautiful building with bags of character and charm , but all the mod cons you could ask for . It’s impeccably clean and tidy and well equipped too ,the beds are comfy and the shower powerful . It’s very quiet and the gardens are beautiful. We brought my ninety year old mum with us , so the lovely downstairs en-suite was perfect . In fact the open plan design of both the lounge and dinning areas was convenient too, as well as being light, bright and airy . We would highly recommend the creamery and look forward to returning soon Glen , Susie and Dolly

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

We enjoyed our stay in Lindsey and Ray's lovely and very, very comfortable Airbnb. It was spacious, incredibly well equipped and well laid out. It was a really beautiful area which we had not visited for about 30 years and we ate at some good seafood restaurants (The Oyster Shack and Shoals). And we had Lindsey's lovely Lemon Drizzle cake which is as wonderful as all the reviews state. We would be happy to recommend and return to visit this property

Excellent stay at the pod. Compact but with all facilities needed for 2 people. Ideally situated within walking distance to Kingsbridge.

What an amazing place to stay, the property is absolutely perfect, it contains everything you need, perfect size & extremely clean, it really was home from home. The location is fantastic, with all of the key areas being so easily accessible. Emily & her family were lovely, really helpful & it was a absolute pleasure to meet them and stay within their property. Thank you so much & I hope to see you again soon!
