We had a wonderful stay at the Red House! The space was very cozy, yet surprisingly roomy — perfect for relaxing and feeling right at home. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the setting felt peaceful and private throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a quiet retreat.

My friends and I stayed at this Airbnb as a surprise weekend away to celebrate our friend getting married. This Airbnb was the perfect spot for us, with lots of wonderful amenities on the property itself as well as a distillery and cider house within a less than 5 minute walk away. We were blown away by the attention to detail at this place, they are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including board games and outdoor activities. The entire property was pristine, inside the house and outside. The hosts were extremely kind and quickly responsive to messages. They even helped us with recommendations in the area. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here. My friends and I are hoping to return for another visit in the future! Thanks Wayne & Carolyn for a great stay. :)

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

This cottage was an absolute gem for our family getaway! We were looking to truly disconnect and immerse ourselves in nature, and this place delivered perfectly. We loved the "off-grid" feeling and the profound quiet. While the May weather was a bit cool, we saw it as a plus – fewer bugs to bother us! The hot tub was a wonderful treat, and we spent lovely evenings around the fire pit. The kids had a blast exploring the tree-lined path to the dock, where they enjoyed fishing. Inside, comfort was key: the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen was impressively equipped with all the cooking tools one could need. To top it all off, the hosts were very responsive and helpful. This is a beautiful home, and we'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We had a wonderful bachelorette weekend at Joanie’s place! There were many games and water toys to keep us entertained our entire stay. We loved using the hot tub and sauna and had an all around blast! The bbq is in a perfect location to look at the pristine lake view as well. Cant recommend this place enough, perfect location and amazing amenities. Thank you Joanie!

The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

One of the best hosts I’ve had the pleasure speaking with. Brenda provided tons of information prior to check in, made the check in/out process seamless. I was lucky to come to Isabelle’s place for a family getaway. It was the perfect place for relaxing - it feels very remote and quiet, with tons of cute deer to watch in the evenings, a nice dock for watching the sunset, and a very cozy living space. The ferry rides were also a fun little experience. I was surprised at how many supplies they had stocked the kitchen with, enough for us to try complicated recipes. The latte machine (with milk frother) and complimentary coffee was also a huge bonus! Isabelle was always quick to reply and very helpful when we had any questions, before and during our stay. Definitely hoping to come back soon. Would highly recommend for a secluded and peaceful stay.

Tracey is an amazing host, very responsive and always making sure we were having a pleasant stay. The place is exactly like pictured in the advertisement. Brand new cottage, clean and well furnished. Very well equipped bedrooms and bathroom. The lake is pretty and the nearby hike is also very nice. The place is very peaceful. We had a wonderful time there, will very likely come back sometime.

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

I booked a mini Mother’s Day weekend trip with my parents and it was a wonderful experience! It was a quiet and relaxing trip, where we could just sit by the river or just chill on the couch with the windows open while listening to some music on their record player (great selection of vinyls also!). The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were super comfy and the overall space was clean. Julia was also very responsive to any questions and we love that they left little notes on how to use things around the place. Overall, a lovely stay :)

Beautiful and peaceful location right by the lake surrounded by trees. Host was kind and responsive, cabin is older but functional and has everything you need. The view from the balcony overlooks the lake and you can enjoy your meal there or have barbecue. There is also direct access to the lake and you can use the motor boat and the canoes. We were here in the fall with our two dogs and really enjoyed the colors on the trees. Be aware that there are ticks and if you bring a dog, they absolutely need to have protection against ticks. Would recommend to those who appreciate nature and are not looking for luxury but a cozy cabin experience.

This was our second time there and it was completely awesome as usual. Margy is a really great host . If you like peace and quiet waterfront property with brand new amenities, this is the place to go .

Fantastic setting! The place was clean and very well equipped, we lacked nothing. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Wonderful clean lake and fun to explore with their kayaks. We found the indoor space a little tight (family of 5 adults), the rooms were small but comfortable. The outdoor space was phenomenal, lots of sitting areas, fire pits and we enjoyed the hot tub! It is not good for people with reduced mobility however. There are lots of stairs!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Andrey’s cottage! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described — even better in person. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, surrounded by nature and peaceful surroundings. Andrey was a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for his guests. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.

this was the perfect cottage. didn't matter where you were you always had a view of the lake. beautiful dock for boats and a beautiful dock for relaxing on or to swim from. it was so relaxing and peaceful. watching the hummingbirds at the feeder was such a beautiful touch. sitting in the beautiful Adirondack chairs having my morning tea was fantastic. we even got a visit from an otter who just did his thing on the deck while we watched him from the big livingroom window. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for relaxation and peace. the pictures don't do it justice. the host is great. the instructions we got ahead of time were great to have as we knew what we needed to bring. the place was absolutely clean. everything we needed was there. it really felt like it was my own place. the furniture and beds were all comfy. thank you thank you thank you dreamnest for sharing your place with others to experience tranquility. the name definitely suits it.

We had a great stay. This place is so peaceful and tons of wildlife. Loved the bird feeder stations! We saw and heard the loons as well as some otters and beaver. Our dog Zelda who loves to swim enjoyed herself as well with easy access to the water.

We had a lovely time at Vik’s. He was always there to respond promptly to our queries. He also made sure to ensure we have a comfortable stay by sharing instructions about the heating. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, cutlery, and crockery and the pool table is such a good thing to have at the cottage. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

The place was spectacular and so much more than we expected. Beautiful location and lovely neighbours. We spent our 3 days hiking and there were so many lakes and conservation areas, trails etc for that. It is truly a lovely spot. The cottage had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will be booking there again!
