"Living in a construction car" Our lovingly designed construction car is ready for you if you love nature and are looking for distance from everyday life. The construction car is quiet and idyllically nestled between an apple and a plum tree in the garden of our house. It has been rebuilt and expanded in terms of building biology and is a successful mix of old, preserved and modern elements. They have a great unobstructed view over meadows and fields, up to Amöneburg, 10 km away. The construction car is comfortably furnished for 1-2 people and you can even heat with a wood stove on cool days. In addition, the construction car has a cooking facility, a coffee machine and a cool box, so you can take care of yourself. The sanitary facilities can be easily reached at a distance of 20 m. In an attractive washhouse you can take a shower, rinse and go to the toilet. Our bicycles are ready for you to explore in the immediate vicinity, for example, the Rauischholzhausen Castle (7 km), the Wittelsberger Warte (3 km) and the university city of Marburg an der Lahn (8 km), which are to be mentioned with the Marburg Castle and its exceptional half-timbered old town. You do not need to worry about bedding and a set of towels is prepared for you. We would be happy to welcome you as our guest.

Detached country house in meadows and forests in an absolutely secluded location. Hiking/biking trails start right by the house. There is a great covered barbecue with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A ping-pong table, a foosball table and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

Family reunions/days in Gemünden Castle Mansion

Gemünden Castle is a former castle from the 13th century, which was converted for residential purposes during the Baroque period. The mansion offers 6 spacious bedrooms with space for up to 6 families and groups of up to 12 adults. It can accommodate 20 people in 5 double beds and on good mattresses. In addition, the building offers spacious common areas. 1 large living and dining room with open fireplace. 1 small lounge. 1 large kitchen, library, 1 sauna, 1 jacuzzi (use costs an additional €150).

Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Bike charging station directly at the apartment. Then a sauna session? If you are interested, it is possible to take a tour with my US Oldies ;-)

The stylish, large and completely refurbished apartment is perfect for families, business travellers or workers. The university town of Marburg with its beautiful old town, as well as the industrial town of Stadtallendorf can both be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. The holiday flat is an ideal destination for hikers because of the local premium hiking trail "Panoramaweg", the nearby "Wandermärchen Burgwald-Ederbergland" and the Kellerwald/Edersee National Park.

It is located right on the edge of the forest and invites you to relax after a visit to the historic, lively Oberstadt. The apartment is fully equipped with high-quality and modern amenities (not barrier-free). It has one bedroom, one bathroom, a storage room and an open living-dining area with large window front.

Our vacation apartment is located in Wittelsberg, a small village in the countryside, in the immediate vicinity of the forest. Here, you'll stay in a quiet location close to nature. Shops are within a radius of about 2.5 km, and Marburg's city center is about 13 km away. Car is recommended for maximum flexibility. A charging station for electric cars (11kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee). The nightly rate is including final cleaning.

Half-timbered house with loft bed

A small half-timbered house sleeps 4 - 5 people. On the first floor are the entrance area and the kitchen, upstairs the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room. The bedroom has a double bed, 180 cm. In addition, there is a loft bed level for two people, 140 cm above the living room. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for 1 person. The ladder to the loft bed cannot be removed or locked. You should consider this if you want to travel with children.

Cozy 60 sqm apartment in a historic, listed townhouse with access to the Missomelius Hof pasture houses. The apartment is on the ground floor. The apartment has a spacious living/dining area with fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with queen size bed 160x200 and a newly renovated bathroom. Many attractions and the Lahn bank promenade are within walking distance. Outdoor swimming pool and indoor swimming pool Aquamar are a 10-minute walk away.

Our 120 sqm apartment is located in a 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between Burgwald and Kellerwald. The garden was laid out by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful trips to Marburg or the nearby Edersee from here. The lake offers a variety of business opportunities. You can also start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

Terrace apartment in historic Oberstadt

We offer our vacation rental here. It is located in the historic Oberstadt with its beautiful alleys and half-timbered houses. There are numerous restaurants, cozy cafes, versatile shopping and much more in the area. The Oberstadt funicular is also nearby. Despite its central location, the apartment is quiet at night. The terrace offers a beautiful view over Marburg and is free, without terraces above it.
