Great accommodation for us as a family, as a starting point for excursions to the Black Forest and Freiburg. The apartment was very clean, the beds very comfortable and cozy. We were very pleased.

Ute’s place is spacious, clean, and bright. What you see is what you get from the photos. As a light sleeper, the passing trains didn’t bother me much, I had no problems sleeping at all. I stayed there for a week and got used to it on the second day. Ute is also friendly and flexible, I arrived slightly earlier and she welcomed me in. On my last day, I stayed at her garden for around 2 hours after I checked out. We talked a lot with my broken German.. I recommend this place.

Check in and out, uncomplicated and very friendly. A very nice, clean and quiet apartment in a great location. Friendly, always approachable landlord. Good starting point for tours. For me, it was a very relaxing time. Thank you, I'd love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment! The location is great – perfect for starting beautiful hikes directly from the accommodation. The apartment itself was sparkling clean and really cozy. We particularly liked the small balcony: with a great view and wonderful evening sun - ideal for relaxing after a day of hiking. All around a feel-good place that we can absolutely recommend!

I have really lived in many AirBnBs, but none was as perfect, comfortable and beautiful as the apartment at Niklas & Nele. The location is wonderfully green, you can only hear a small stream, cow bells and birdsong - perfect for a quiet break. At the same time, Niklas & Nele provided a great PDF guide that answers a lot of questions in advance and contains suggestions or tips for the area. We would come back anytime, then gladly a little longer. In the vicinity, there are really a lot of beautiful excursion destinations for families with small children (the Todtnau waterfalls with the suspension bridge are highly recommended). For us, it was a truly perfect experience, for which we are very grateful! That's exactly what we needed on our vacation!

We had a great week in the apartment in Simonswald! The accommodation is modern, stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail – you immediately feel comfortable. The furnishings are high-quality, the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, the living room is cozy and technically up-to-date. We especially liked the quiet bedroom with very comfortable beds and the modern, clean bathroom. The apartment was sparkling clean and well prepared upon arrival. The location is perfect for excursions to the Black Forest, but at the same time quiet and relaxing. Communication with host Marco was also friendly, fast and uncomplicated at all times. You can tell that someone here is a host with heart and aspiration. We felt completely comfortable and can fully recommend this apartment. If you are looking for stylish, comfortable accommodation in a fantastic environment, you have come to the right place.

Beautiful old house with a lot of style and very functional. Surrounded by gardens and parks. Susann is very welcoming and responds very quickly. The rooms are very spacious. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Freiburg. The location is perfect, a very quiet area and a 10-minute walk from the cathedral.

We stayed here with family of five and really loved our experience. The space was super cute and designed incredibly well. We had plenty of room to stretch out. Our favorite standouts would be the hike to the waterfall right out the back door, the sauna at the end of a long day, and our kids loved the toys they had on hand. As a family we loved eating on the patio and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It was easy to get to a number of great close by destinations. We loved it and want to come back in the winter!!!

Super uncomplicated and familiar. Location great! Great restaurant. Room really very clean. The place is much bigger than it seems in the pictures. Good shopping can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Good starting point for hikes, in the middle of the nature reserve. Clear recommendation!

The communication with Sabine was great, she always responded quickly and reliably and could always give helpful tips. The accommodation is clean, beautiful and tidy. I would recommend the place anytime.

Had a delightful time! At first, I had concerns about the distance to the center of Freiburg, but it is very easy to get to the city center by public transport. In addition, bicycles can also be rented via Nextbike (Sparkasse location). The apartment is wonderfully quiet in the tranquil beautiful Merzhausen, is very clean and with everything you need (incl. initial equipment, coffee, dishwasher tablets, etc.). Free parking is just around the corner. Nearby, on a hill, there is also a Jesuit castle with a café/restaurant. And Freiburg and the surroundings are simply picturesque!! We'd love to come back to Merzhausen! Oh yes: the communication with Lilly & Samuel was great! We wish you only the best!!

The apartment is super cozy and absolutely matches the description. You can go hiking directly from there or reach various destinations such as the Feldberg or the Schluchsee in less than an hour by car. The fixed underground parking space is very practical. Communication was also great, we had a very nice stay :)

Maxime is a great host who has prepared this apartment very well for guests. We had everything we needed. Maxime was always available to answer any questions quickly. We'll be happy to come back sometime.

We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The whirlpool and the view were simply beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

Very nice accommodation, good location. The apartment is clean, quiet, and as described. The neighborhood is peaceful and the instructions to get there are very clear. I recommend it!

This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.

Absolutely charming! Can't wait to come back.
