Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Kirkmichael Apartments comprise 4 self-contained holiday apartments in a historic building converted from a traditional coaching inn. The Strath Ardle is a second-floor apartment overlooking the lovely village and river. The large bright lounge has a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is a double bedroom, a box room with single bed (suitable for a child) and a shower room. Access to the back garden is just outside the apartment door.
