In the immediate vicinity are the "Haus am See" [Lake House], a SAMsDIVING diving base, the beautiful Graefenthal Abbey, a nature reserve with several lakes and forest. On the Niers you can ride canoe and dinghy. The "GochNess" leisure pool with swimming pool and sauna area with access to the lake can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot. Welcome to our cozy guesthouse in Malden, located in the vicinity of various forest and nature reserves such as the Mookerheide, Hatertse Vennen, Kraaijenbergse Plassen and the Reichswald. Downtown Nijmegen (8 km) is 15-20 minutes drive. A bus stop with direct bus connection to Station Nijmegen is 75 meters from our home. Various amenities, such as supermarket and restaurants, are in walking distance. Thermen Berendonck is a 14-minute drive away.

In the barn of our historic 1489 farmhouse you will sleep in the Wolhalla: a tiny house lined with wool from the Drents heideschaap. The bright, open space also has a dining table, lounge sofa, infrared sauna, designer bath and cooking area – perfect for relaxing. Outside you will find a fire pit with wood for slow cooking and a cold water bath for the ultimate cooling off. A unique place where relaxation and inspiration come together.

Hoeve Aldenhof is located in the National Park De Maasduinen and is part of the Bleijenbeek estate. The loft is located on the upper floor of the farmhouse. You have views of the castle ruin and the meandering Eckeltse creek from the loft. With any luck, you'll see a beaver or das go by early. Walk, bike, golf or eat to your heart's content in/out of nature. And above all, take a break back to this unique, soothing spot.
