The "haus in spay" is a historic half-timbered house, built around 1545 in the Moselle village of Zell-Merl. It is located near the river at the foot of a sun-drenched southern slope on the Moselle, the well-known wine region with unique Riesling cultivation and Mediterranean culture. The monument ensemble with main house, the more recent vacation home and steep garden was extensively restored in 8.5 years of construction and mainly in own work according to ecological and traditional criteria.

Despite the heat outside, we had a wonderfully cool apartment, where everything was just great. I really can't name 1 min point. So cozy and tastefully decorated, a wonderful bed and shower with a nice hard jet of water. Marisa you can be proud of your apartment and I will most certainly advertise for you.

Gero's house is great, we felt very comfortable! The best thing is the location directly on the Moselle. From the terrace, you have a great view of the river and the vineyards on the other side. The house is spacious and tastefully furnished. Gero took wonderful care of us, even though he wasn't there. He was always available, and there is an online house manual where you can read everything about the house and activities. There is a bakery within walking distance and a really great supermarket 17 minutes away with an offer that you would otherwise only know from France (and with fast charging stations!). It's fitting that the kitchen is very well equipped, so you can cook superbly. And you can try and buy good wine everywhere, so our stay was also a culinary pleasure. The area also has a lot to offer: hiking or cycling along the Moselle or in the national park, Trier and pretty Moselle towns, paddling or boat trips on or swimming in the Moselle.

You will not regret booking this Airbnb! This is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Petra and Helmut went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed for our 4 month old daughter. They are such warm people. The accommodation was excellent, clean, convenient to town and you can not beat that view!

A beautiful house with enough space for 8 people. Up-to-date furnishings with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Even the rooms under the roof are very pleasant due to good insulation. You have to bring everything yourself, from toilet paper to dishwashing detergent to all towels and bed linen.

Very nice authentic house in a really beautiful village. Excellent facilities, sheltered courtyard, good kitchen, bathrooms and beds. The only downsides are no parking at the house itself and no toilet on the ground floor.
