Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kos

Wir haben uns bei Martha direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Vom überaus freundlichen Empfang, über bereitgestelltes Wasser im Übermaß, Wein ind Olivenöl bis zu tollen Empfehlungen in der Umgebung. Martha hat unsere Zeit auf der Insel Kos zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Das besondere I-Tüpfelchen war ihre Katze, welche uns jeden Morgen und jeden Abend freundlich begrüßte. Wir würden jederzeit dorthin zurückkommen und können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Hier ist eine authentische Inselerfahrung garantiert. Eine großes Dankeschön an Martha ♥️

Gerçekten harika bir konaklamaydı. Bunda en büyük pay tabi ki ev sahibi Petros’un. Son derece yardımsever güleryüzlü biri. Yerin konumu zaten çok güzel, giriş çıkışlar çok kolaydı. Herşeyiyle çok güzel bir tatil geçirdik. Teşekkürler Petros 🙏

Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend ausgestattet und bietet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den kleinen Hafen von Kamari. Giannis war jederzeit gut erreichbar, hat schnell geantwortet und uns bereits drei Tage vor der Anreise alle wichtigen Informationen zukommen lassen. Ein kleiner Punkt, der uns etwas überrascht hat: Einer der Hauptgründe, warum wir diese Unterkunft gebucht haben, war der Eindruck auf den Fotos, dass sie völlig allein auf dem Hügel liegt. Tatsächlich ist jedoch direkt daneben (auf gleicher Höhe) ein weiteres Apartment angebaut. Dadurch kann man sich gegenseitig gut sehen und auch hören, wenn man auf dem Balkon sitzt, da die Entfernung recht gering ist. Trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

This two bedroom, ground floor apartment is ideally located on a quiet, residential street, a short five to ten minute walk from the many shops and restaurants at the main Port. The area is safe with a green grocer, small supermarket, bakery and butcher, a block away. The off-street parking is a plus if you have a car. The modestly furnished apartment has a backyard that is shared with the building next store but can provide refuge from the hustle and bustle of the tourist season. A adequately outfitted kitchen makes meal prep possible. Check-in, check-out was flawless. The host was available to answer any questions that we had. Definitely a good place to stay if you want to be near the Port of Kos, yet desire a more serene environment.

Staying at Niko's place was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The location is perfect—close to everything yet feeling secluded and calm. Just a 5-minute walk, and you're in the centre of Kos, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, with a convenient market open till late nearby. The house itself is incredibly well-designed and well-built, with beautiful materials and finishes. The natural light fills the space, making it very relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need, and the bathroom features a fantastic open-layout shower. The backyard is also a highlight—well-designed, fully furnished, with an outdoor shower and sink. It’s a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach before dinner. Finally, a big thanks to Niko for his excellent communication. He’s super friendly and professional. If you’re looking for the ideal spot in Kos, this is it. I’ll definitely be back next year. It was a wonderful stay. I was greeted very warmly by Kona's parents. As soon as I entered the apartment I felt at home. Everything is spotlessly clean and the location is simply fantastic. Totally quiet with a fantastic view of Kos town and the coast of Turkey. Kona is a very attentive host and was available at all times. Communication was excellent from the beginning and throughout the entire stay. Thank you again for making my special request possible so easily. Kona's parents live in the house and were so concerned about my well-being. When I arrived there were drinks waiting in the fridge, during my stay Margaret surprised me with homemade feta croissants and there was also a farewell gift from their own garden. Such warmth cannot be topped. Unfortunately it was only a short vacation for me in this great accommodation. But I will come back and definitely stay longer. Thank you to all three of you for letting me be your guest!

Peaceful place in a nice area overlooking the town and sea, with kind and friendly cats and dogs who welcome you. Well equipped and clean accommodation, and the host was very responsive if we needed anything. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay at Niki's place very much – it's far away from the touristic hot spots, very calm and quiet with beautiful surroundings and a great view. For some reason google maps took us to the wrong place when we typed in the coordinates, but the locals were very friendly and guided us the way. We explored the island quite thoroughly and found no other village as tranquil and beautiful as Lagoudi. We totally recommend staying there! Also Niki is an amazing host. When we arrived at the airport, our car rental which we had booked online fell through and she immediately arranged another car for us – in the middle of the night! Niki is the best host <3

A pleasure to deal with. Eager to help including fitting a mattress topper as we found bed fairly firm ( personal taste!) Allowed us to stay on until we left for our late flight. A gentleman who always responded very quickly. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay at Irene’s lovely studio! Her attention of details is out Of this world, she welcomed us very warmly and made us feel at home! Also threw in some super nice add ons 🍎 🍷that made our arrival extra special! Beautiful sunset views and the studio was furnished Very well. Highly recommend this spot!

I had a great stay here. It looks exactly like the photos. The location is great in Kos Town. The instructions were clear for finding the apartment. Lots of cleaning bits and coffee pods were provided. I would definitely stay here again!

We had the most fabulous stay at Dimitra Maria’s place. The air bnb had all the amenities you could need during your stay, the kitchen was well equipped and we even had some local honey’s, marmalades and milks to start us off! The property is a perfect distance to be able to walk to the beaches and the town, whilst being slightly out of the hustle and bustle. Dimitria Maria was so helpful during our stay, helping us arrange transport to and from the airport, and always on hand to answer any queries. We highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back next year! Thank you!😌

Het was een hele fijne ruimte vlak boven de heerlijke pizzeria. We hebben met plezier gebruik gemaakt van de accommodatie wat op loopafstand van het strand is en de drukke winkeltjes. De douchekop zit wel vrij los in de houder maar verder is ook de badkamer schoon en netjes

The accommodation was exactly as described and as in the photos - everything was clean, tidy and well equipped. The location is really great: it's less than a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are bakeries and small supermarkets nearby. Particularly practical for families: there is a kind of playground directly opposite the accommodation, so the children could play right outside the door and within sight. Host Michael was super polite, very accommodating and always helpful. You feel like you are in good hands. I can really recommend this great accommodation to everyone!

Na het lezen van de fantastische reviews hadden we hoge verwachtingen en het was zelfs nog beter! We beleefden een fantastisch tijd van aankomst tot vertrek. Vasilis en Manolis ontvingen ons persoonlijk, hartelijk met een rondleiding door het mooie verblijf, een koelkast met lekkers verzorgd door Nia. Er lag zelfs een welkomsgeschenk, zo attent! Het verblijf netjes, knus en alles was voorzien voor een aangenaam verblijf. We sliepen er heerlijk! Stil, airco en de matras was top! Het gezellig terras was perfect om maaltijden te nuttigen. Met sfeerverlichting s’avonds. Maar wat deze plek echt heel bijzonder maakte was de warmte en vriendelijkheid van de familie. Voor de verjaardag van mijn man hadden ze zelfs een verrassing. Ze waren altijd beschikbaar maar gaven ons ook ruimte. De perfecte plek voor wie op zoek is naar rust, griekse gastvrijheid een warm thuis gevoel, goede ligging tussen de locals. Vasilis, Manolis en Nia zitten in ons hart. Tot snel en oprecht bedankt voor alles 🙏🏻 🫶.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit wirklich allem das man im Urlaub braucht und ein richtig netter Vermieter. Die Bilder sagen eigentlich alles aus, sie stimmen mit der Realität überein. Der Ausblick von der riesigen überdachten Terrasse, entweder nach hinten heraus über das nahe gelegene Hotel in die Berge oder nach vorne heraus aufs Meer mit der Türkei im Hintergrund, haben was. Verkehrtechnisch sehr nah an Kos Town und an der Hauptstrasse über die dann alle Orte der Insel erreichbar sind. Ein Auto sollte man allerdings haben wenn man was sehen will. Die drei Wochen sind wie im Winde verflogen. Vielen Dank an unseren Gastgeber!

Gregory is really a super host as he really went the extra mile for our stay and we really appreciate this, as it helped us a lot in our plans. I would start with the mention that we had to do remote work and the internet connection is good, both wifi and cable. Gregory even went ahead and got us an internet cable to make sure that we could have the best possible connection. The checkin and checkout is really easy and intuitive and the instructions together with the really good recommendations are really helpful. The apartment is modern, fully equipped as we did not miss a single thing. Really really clean, worthy of its name "White Box". It is in walkable distance to everything in Kos town and the area is really nice and quiet. Over the street you have a really good coffe shop with the best coffee we had in Greece ever (Royal Cafe). In conclusion I would definitely stay here again when coming to Kos.

Wat een heerlijk appartement en zo leuk ingericht! Het appartement ligt iets buiten het centrum, dus rustig gelegen maar je bent zo bij de supermarkt (3 minuten lopen), restaurants (1 minuut lopen) en het strand (2 minuten lopen). Onze gastheer had voor ons wat basisboodschappen klaar staan, hetgeen heel fijn was vanwege onze late aankomst. Het appartement heeft overal horren, dus geen insecten in huis. Behalve een wasmachine en droogrek, is er ook een afwasmachine en airco (die per kamer te bedienen is). De bedden zijn fijn en in de middag kan je lekker voor het huis in de schaduw zitten. Ioannis is een heel goede gastheer, die snel reageert en te hulp schiet, indien dit nodig is. Als je naar Kos gaat, kies dan voor dit appartement!
