Beachfront holiday rental in Kyushu

We spent 4 nights here and I wish it was more. The place is big, pretty and quiet, the beds were hot and comfortable. We got lucky with weather (17°c in february) and were able to do a different hike everyday, it's about 1h30 to reach either tops (one south and one north of the island) walking in the forest and with a nice view when you're there. Easy access without a car, there are 2 different ferries from Saiki and one of them drops/takes you 2 minutes away from the house, they cost 150 and 200 yen. Host is really friendly, helpful, knows well Kyushu (and the rest of Japan) and his kids are sweet and well educated.

We had a wonderful stay here. The view was so beautiful, and we loved to listen to the water. The location was also really great for what we had planned. It is on a busy road, and the train tracks are right behind the house, but neither the train nor cars bothered us any.

The ocean view was perfect and the sea breeze very refreshing. The Kitchen set up was great for our stay as we wanted to cook. The check in was very smooth and easy. We were made to feel extremely welcome. Being able to walk down the ocean every morning was awesome and the sunsets were stunning. We love our stay. SD, Lani and Dexter

I couldn't recommend the Lighthouse more. Seiji was so warm and welcoming. The location is so close to the multiple beaches on Iki. Seiji is incredibly generous, the room is huge, and the house is so relaxing. The best!

Great home to stay for a family of 3-4! The bed was comfortable and there was a big closet to put our luggage. The check in and check out processes were very smooth and straight forward! The host was very welcoming and the space was homey! The location was very convenient to shopping, eating, and the Hells of Beppu!

海がすぐ目の前でとても環境がよく、楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。 GWで水族館など海の中道が混雑していたので、民泊の家に行くまで予想以上に混雑していましたが、西戸崎に入ってからはとても快適でした。 また機会があればよろしくお願いします。

初めての宿泊でしたが、とても快適に過ごせました。 テラスには猫が遊びに来てくれるし最高です！ 風が強くて音が多少気になりはしたものの、ベッドがフカフカでよく眠れました。 なによりホストの方が親切で、安心して宿泊することができました。 素敵な旅行になりました。本当にありがとうございました！

What a special place. We were lucky enough to find this house as we cancelled another part of our trip and ended up staying 3 days here. This was the most beautiful Japanese house we stayed at over the years. The decoration is very intricate, beautiful in every day. The kitchen is exceptionally well furnished, we cooked every night and nothing was lacking. The situation, right in front of a pier makes the house stand out in so many ways. And we loved all the things to do in the region, it was a great discovery for us. Of course, we had our own leased car, we don't know how one would manage without transportation in the vicinity so we can't speak to that. All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and cannot recommend it enough.

Really beautiful place, I stayed for a couple of days and wished I could stay for much longer! Right on the beach, easy to get to and space for parking. Lovely host and you’re provided with everything you’d need to stay and more. Comfy beds, great social space, spacious shower room and big open kitchen. There was a big storm when I was there and I felt very cosy despite the big space. Saving to hopefully come back!

Un super endroit et une super hôte ! Ayant été bloqué en moto par la neige nous sommes arrivés tard et elle nous attendait pour nous accueillir. La table chauffante préparée par notre hôte après plusieurs heures de moto dans le froid nous a fait un bien fou! Merci beaucoup !

This was thee nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I mean the private beach, sauna, hot tub, open bar.. what more can I say? I had to extend my stay for an extra day because it was so nice.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt; die Lage direkt am Meer hat für ein einmaliges Erlebnis gesorgt. Die Unterkunft war mit allem nötigen ausgestattet! Viele Handtücher und extrem sauber. Besten Dank für den netten Kontakt.

庭が広く、室内もとても雰囲気がよく、ふた家族で過ごしてもかなり余裕がありました。 またぜひ遊びにいかせてもらいたいです。 一点だけ、バーベキューコンロの網が前の方が使ったままで油とコゲがひどく、チェックインしてまずはバーベキューコンロを洗う作業からになります。 手間かもしれませんが、中には洗っても出さない利用者もいるため、 施設側でも洗って管理していただけると大変ありがたいかなと思いました。

バルコニーの景色とプライベートサウナが楽しめました。 サウナ横の浴槽はお湯を溜めることもできるので寒い季節でも楽しめるかと思います。

Beautiful and peaceful location that was very relaxing! There was plenty of room for my family to enjoy the villa’s features of pool, hot tub, and sauna. The outdoor charcoal barbecue grills were also a welcome luxury for grilling our hamburgers and sausages. Definitely an enjoyable, natural place overlooking the water!
