Holiday rentals with beach access in La Couarde-sur-Mer

We had a very good stay, apparently quiet and pleasant, all comforts!

Excellent stay. The apartment is very clean, ideally located and matches the listing.

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

What a wonderful place in the best part of Île de Ré. We had such excellent hosts, Anne Kathrine and Remy. Special mention to Maya, their beautiful and friendly dog, her daily greetings were so welcoming. We leave with lovely memories of a great revisit to the island after 32 years! A very nice apartment with a view of the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city center of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

Everything was perfect. Sylvie is very kind with a very warm welcome. For your information, brioche, fruit juice, tea or infusion, coffee, sugar are at our disposal, convenient for the 1st day. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a lovely stay at this place. We discovered La Couarde, which we really liked (central square on the island, caterers, covered market with few stalls but quality, kindness of the people we met ...). We were a little far from the center on foot but we didn't mind (25 minute walk). The residence where the accommodation is located is very pleasant and has all the amenities (tennis court, ping pong table in a covered place, small green space...) Only thing a little inconvenient to the noise from the road to Ars. The interior of the accommodation was very nice and cozy, with a large comfortable sofa and a large table, the bedding was fine and all the kitchenware was there. Communication with our host was discreet

An excellent stay in La Couarde in this accommodation Clean, very well decorated, very well equipped, very comfortable, with a pleasant and well-equipped outdoor space and close to the city center, the tourist office and shuttles for the whole island (ideal when you come without a car) Some suggestions: - offer a map of the island and shuttle schedules (we left some) - Make the operating instructions for the household appliances available: a little complicated with the coffee maker...😊

We had a pleasant weekend with the family in the sun, without a car! From our accommodation, we were able to cycle the beautiful trails of the island. For the beach, we could walk there. For shopping, everything was nearby. The accommodation was well suited for our 2 families, inside and outside. Comfort and cleanliness. Beautiful memories for all of us!

Had a lovely stay at Géraldine’s. Comfortable and clean home with everything you could need. Location quiet but within short walking distance to supermarket and pretty square with a boulangerie and couple of restaurants as well as the tourist office. Having the bikes to use as and when was a huge bonus - we enjoyed our cycle to other villages. In the evening hearing the swifts swooping by whilst sitting in the courtyard was very relaxing. No hesitation to recommend.

Great stay in this beautiful house! Well located, everything is in compliance, nothing to report! Only downside: the top bunk beds creak a lot when you move at night.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Idyllic stay on the island of Ré thanks to this impeccable and ideally located studio. Elisabeth is a caring host who does not hesitate to give valuable advice and good tips. The studio is very well equipped and very clean. Ideally located on the port of Saint-Martin, we are however quiet even with the windows open, and its location makes it very easy to access the bike paths to explore the whole island. Thank you Elisabeth for your hospitality, we will definitely be back!!!!

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

An amazing place to stay in the best location to be honest!

We spent 2 incredible days in the heart of the Île de Ré. We were able to book the accommodation at the last minute, which allowed us to leave unexpectedly :)

We had a lovely stay at Ingrid's apartment. It is located close to the port. Facing to the west, it is sunny at the end of the day . It has a parking space and bike storage in a secure residence (a big plus for a stay on Île de Ré where the interest is to get around by bike). It is well equipped and very clean. Bedding is good. Ingrid is friendly and available. Good location!
