Cour de Liege is a gem within a gem! Anjou is already a treasure in the heart of France, but Laurent and Piritta's property is a pocket of paradise. Calm, scenic, rustic but elegant. Laurent and Piritta were the kindest hosts and really made us feel at home. They helped us learn about the area and gave us the investment of their time. Our children loved the countryside property and the horses, peacocks, and natural beauty. The farmhouse gite is tastefully restored and the beds were wonderful! We didn't want to leave! One of the best spots in France:) Thank you to Laurent and Piritta-- excellent hosts and wonderful people.

Awesome clean home. Quiet environment and supermarket a 5-minute walk away. Accommodation particularly suitable for young children.

We needed somewhere to rest and catchup with each other having very stressful work lives , this location and accommodation was ideal as it was peaceful yet still close to busy areas if needed

This tranquil place is perfect for a stop over or as a base to explore the region. It is close to the motorway and yet far enough from it no to be heard. There is a medium size supermarket and a large pet store nearby which is convenient. The village itself is worth a visit, especially on market day. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of great quality. The log burner is user friendly and efficient. There is plenty of wood made available. The grounds are vast and very pleasant. Our labrador took full advantage of them. The owner is very friendly towards both dogs and people. The mairie has recently changed the street numbers but google has yet to receive the memo so it sends you to the wrong address. Make sure you double check the address with the owner before your arrival. This was a real find for us after travelling through France for 3 months. It is a perfect mid way stop over if you are travelling up or down on the west coast, especially with a dog. We'll be back:)

Pam and Ingemar were just so nice ! They looked after us so well ( delicious home made bread ,food in the fridge) and their cottage is very confortable, in the middle of nature. It's peaceful and quite. Wonderful to rest. The zoo is roughly 8 minutes driving. We hope to come back !

We had a wonderful stay in La Touche. Beautiful and very comfortable indoor and outdoor space. Dinner Bbq on our terrace and then spending the evening watching the sun setting over the fields was magic to us. And as the weather was warm we used the pool quite a few times. Everything super clean and tidy and very well organised. Anneli and Jamie were welcoming, friendly and always there for us if had questions. We will be coming back!

We loved our time at Orchard cottage. Emma and Tim went above and beyond to welcome us, offer tips on good locations amd even offered to run us up to a local wine tasting. We were able to enjoy some "down time" relaxing in the beautiful garden, using the pool and reading in the hammock. And we also visited 4 local chateaux. We particularly enjoyed our day in Saumur. I highly recommend this venue for a fabulous experience of rural countryside and visits to some of the beautiful chateaux that the Loire region has to offer.

First of all, the estate is surrounded by nature, near Saumur. Many visits within a limited perimeter. For children, the pool is very nice for a return visit. The apartment suited us perfectly for the 3 of us.

We spent 3 nights at Brigitte’s place in early June. A family if 6, aged 68 to 15. We all absolutely loved the house and surroundings. The house had a nice French farmhouse flair to it. Downstairs is a sitting/dining area, kitchen, and a bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom. Upstairs was 3 more bedrooms with 1 double and 4 single beds as well as another full bathroom. The location is very secluded with only Brigitte’s house nearby. If you don’t have a car it will be difficult to deal with because there is nothing within walking distance. But we lived the quiet peacefulness, the sounds of the birds, as well as visiting with the horse and chickens. We only used the pool once but it was warm under the cover and it was a special family bonding event. Brigette was very friendly and answered any questions quickly. This was my favorite place that we stayed in France and I highly recommend it.

We were hosted very well by Laure, the breakfast is very hearty, taken independently. The accommodation is very cozy, close to the banks of the Loire. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the pretty setting because of the weather we brought back from Puy du Fou... We'll be happy to come back

What a fabulous place. Delightful, charming, cozy & off the beaten track. This beautiful cottage is the perfect escape. The hosts Ludovic and Cathy could not have been nicer, what absolutely charming people. They run a set of 3 cottages in a beautiful old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere that is the the Loire Valley. The cottage is beautifully presented and offers a 'rustic' charm - Very French and very workable. The kitchen is well appointed & the bed is very comfortable. The owners work very hard to give the guests that extra special touch. With a beautiful swimming pool, a 'boules' court and unbelievably attentive service we would not hesitate to return here. They have even installed an EV charger - perfect for us. If you are looking for a beautiful escape in the Loire then this is the place. They have a total of 3 rooms here with plenty of scope for a large family gathering. We would not hesitate to return. We look forward to seeing you again Ludo and Cathy!

We had a lovely week here, the property was peaceful and we enjoyed the gorgeous pool area that was larger than we thought it was going to be! With a variety of nature to look out for around the house the kids had fun looking for wildlife and watching the lizards. The house itself was a fantastic size for a family of 3 and a family of 4 not to feel on top of eachother. It was lovely to know we could call Peter and his wife if we needed. Overall we would recommend visiting.

We stayed for a week at the farmhouse. The house is well equipped and clean. The week we stayed was very hot, but the house remained lovely and cool. The pool is fabulous! And the ping-pong table, boules and other garden games/equipment were great for the kids. The location is rural but shops and amenities are only a short drive away. Siobhan and her family were very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return and recommend to others!

The accommodation is very pleasant, a beautiful renovation with pretty old doors and a favorite for the tiles of the bathrooms. The two suites are comfortable, the bedding quality.

My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at Bruno's place, where we made a relaxing stop to break up a long drive. The cottage as well as the common areas of the place are charming, the bedding very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoors, very green, flowery and quiet, the presence of ponies, as well as the amenities available to all (swimming pool, petanque court, ping-pong table, board games, large kitchen...). Bruno even very kindly inflated two bikes so that we could ride around. We totally recommend it and will be back with pleasure.
