The Kingfisher - A house on the Loire's banks

The "Kingfisher" is the perfect place from which to discover the beauty of the Loire Valley. The Loire flows directly by the foot of this two hundred year old house, which is located in the picturesque village of Chênehutte. After a peaceful night’s rest you can go for a bike ride in the countryside, along the Loire, in the forest or simply rest under a parasol while listening to the river and observing its beautiful flora and fauna. Perhaps, if you are lucky, you might even see a kingfisher!

Relax in this former coaching inn that experienced the French Revolution! A charming renovation in a bucolic setting... Optional breakfast. Bright living room, dining room - kitchen and toilet on the ground floor, large bedroom for two with shower room on the 1st floor and bedroom with a double bed and 2 single beds on the 2nd floor. A terrace is adjacent to the living room, overlooking the paddock of our horses. Board and outdoor games. Possibility to come with your horses, 30 x 60 m arena.

Château Stables with Truffle Orchard

In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. Welcome to Clos des Levées! Enjoy a charming, fully renovated cottage in a typical property on the banks of the Loire. The gîte, which benefits from its independent entrance with direct access to the outdoor spaces of the enclosed area as well as to the shared, heated (in season) swimming pool, combines the charm of the old and the comfort of the modern. You will find a bright living room with open kitchen as well as a bedroom with a large double bed (180x200) open to its shower room.

Carved out of Tuffeau stone, it offers natural coolness in summer and a warm atmosphere in winter with the gentle heat of the pellet stove. XVIth century half-troglodyte manor (280 m2) lost in the countryside, at the end of a hamlet, surrounded by a large garden (7000 m2). Heated outside pool with counter-current system. Located close to Saumur and in the heart of our vineyard, our house offers you a unique break to enjoy the surrounding nature and discover our Langlois bubbles. A stone's throw from the accommodation, we will welcome you to our shop for a guided tour and a tasting of our Crémants de Loire and our wines. A bike deposit is also available (€10 per day). Saumur city center is a 5-minute drive from the property.
