We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had a great stay at Alexandra's, who was very welcoming and available to us. We particularly appreciated the small touches in the accommodation (towels, cotton buds, coffee, tea, etc.) and were able to fully enjoy the place (special mention to the jacuzzi!) I will definitely recommend this accommodation in the future!

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

We had chosen Aude's apartment for its proximity to the highway, without any noise inconvenience, the environment is very quiet. We arrived later than expected, around 10pm but were hosted very well! The listing matched the photos, easy to find, and Aude was very responsive. The umbrella bed had already been mounted. In short, a quick and relaxing stopover on the holiday route! Thank you again

An amazing home with a special mention for the kitchen (spacious, very well-equipped, a real pleasure to cook with the family). The accommodation is warm, the bedding very comfortable. It is spacious and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated having a bathroom for each room, the spa outside, the charm of the small village. Thanks also to Dominique, the person we were in contact with, who was responsive whenever we asked.

Great stay at Mike and Mandy's in their lovely very warm cottage. The property and, the garden are beautiful, the environment very picturesque, with all the comforts of course! Mike is discreet but always there if needed with great kindness:-) So we found exactly what we were looking for for our Family Weekend, and we enjoyed the family good times spent on the covered terraces overlooking the valley:-) A real beautiful experience in this corner of heaven. We absolutely recommend!!

We stayed for 11 nights and it was pure bliss! Jonathan was extremely helpful with everything, very friendly and we had a wonderful time staying there , the wine was excellent too. My wife , our dog and myself will definitely be back !

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, close to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us excellent advice on visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

Perfect accommodation, full of amenities for good cooking ;) Garden and great panoramic terrace, the river nearby and exchanges with Dorothée very easy throughout the stay. Great!

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

Fiona warmly welcomed us. She was available and flexible on the arrival and departure. The garden setting is sublime. A peaceful place to relax. We'll be back next year.

We had a wonderful stay in the house. The arrival was a little earlier and was no problem. Super friendly people who were always ready and responded immediately. The location was very quiet and enjoyable ! Definitely recommended for unwinding

A cosy comfortable Gite in the middle of beautiful Dordogne countryside. Peaceful and quiet. Super saltwater pool all to ourselves. Comfortable deck chairs & umbrellas for shade. Comfy beds, kitchen has all mod cons & a lovely outdoor eating terrace under a large Linden tree. Catherine was extremely helpful with local tips. We did a walking tour of Bergerac (well worth visiting) & ate lunch in Chateau Les Merles (gorgeous setting & great food). I’d highly recommend this Gite for an authentic countryside Dordogne stay near Bergerac

We loved our stay here. Beautiful location in rolling countryside, comfortable accomodation with amenities just a short drive away. Our host, Fran was very friendly and responsive. The gite was just lovely. We had a great time and would go back.

We've been 4 years in a row so that says a lot! Katie and Matt are such good hosts and nothing is too much trouble inc. booking restaurants etc. if your French isn't up to it. The location is gorgeous with views across the valley and lots of wildlife to see inc. deer and wildboar if you are lucky. The meals provided as part of your stay are good restaurant quality - what's nicer than to be served a superb meal sat outside in the sun looking at the view with no one else around. The thick walls of the gite keep it cool in the summer.

We spent a week at the beautiful country estate of Adrian and Linda. The apartment with its own access offers all imaginable amenities - perfectly equipped kitchen with mixer, blender, salad spinner, beautiful dishes, high-quality kitchen appliances, etc. The open bedroom with a very comfortable bed and wonderful bed linen can be cooled by air conditioning. The terrace with its own gas grill, which we used several times, overlooks the beautiful pool with a small chill area, which, like many other things, is lovingly maintained. Our highlight was the boulplatz and the vegetable garden, where we could harvest lettuce and potatoes. We explored the beautiful places and markets in the surrounding area by car. We enjoyed the tranquility very much.

A beautiful gite in very peaceful location. Was extremely handy for the wedding we attended in the chateau just 5 minutes walk away. Lovely pool. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace for a quiet drink. Lovely family time. Thank you so much Emmanuelle.

We had a wonderful stay! It was a beautiful gîte -so idyllic, with clean, modern appliances and kitchen. The pool was clean and fresh, the outdoor seating was perfect and a great spot for a BBQ and the view was amazing! We’d recommend to anyone. It’s 15 mins drive from Bergerac, Eymet and Issigeac, so there’s plenty of picturesque French towns to visit around. It’s private and although there’s another gîte in site, we felt like we had the pool to ourselves! Balbina was also so accommodating with our baby - she provided cot and high chair. It was just perfect!
