Fanny was a super host who was able to welcome us very well! The setting is very beautiful and calm. The place is spacious and comfortable. There are convenient shops nearby. Fanny makes every effort to make us feel at home and it's a real pleasure! Big + for the great pool and large bathroom.

We had a fantastic stay at Mary’s cottage! Mary is a wonderful host—warm, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. She gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area and shared thoughtful advice about our possible future move to France, which we really appreciated. The cottage is charming, clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful and completely private garden that we had all to ourselves. Mary took the time to show us around on arrival and made sure we knew how everything worked. The wood-burning fire in the living room was already set up and ready to light, with a plentiful supply of dry wood and kindling provided. There was a terrific sense of having the home entirely to ourselves, while at the same time knowing that Mary was just around the corner should we need anything. Highly recommended!

Stéphanie welcomed us in person with my spouse. She was very thoughtful, warm, and quickly made us feel comfortable. The accommodation is a real gem, tastefully decorated, very clean, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this "little" cocoon! It is much more spacious than we imagined and everything was perfect: a flowered entrance that welcomes you with the scent of roses, bright and comfortable rooms, storage available, all quiet... Stéphanie did not fail to ensure our comfort and recommend us very good places. The environment is beautiful too, whether it's its bucolic landscapes or the surrounding villages. I won't be able to recommend it to you!

The communication between myself and the host was great. What made it exceptionally unforgettable was, the host upgraded us to stay in the villa in the chateau grounds. It helped us massively as we were attending a wedding at the chateau. The place was very clean and fully accommodated all of us. Merci Beaucoup for the upgrade and for letting our family stay in your lovely place.

We had a wonderful week in St Quentin de Chalais. Pat and Yvonne gave us a very warm welcome to their beautiful farmhouse, along with a generous French welcome pack. The pool was fantastic, and the house and stunning location exceeded our expectations. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a charcoal bbq which we enjoyed using, and our privacy was entirely respected, while we also felt our hosts were at hand to help should we have needed anything. Within 20 minutes of the rural location of the farmhouse are quite a few beautiful villages, with plenty of bakeries for your croissant and coffee every morning..Aubeterre, Chalais, Bonnes, St. Aulaye, La Roche Chalais, Ribérac. We have returned home refreshed with wonderful memories of a special week. Thank you.

Beautiful location in the middle of the vast vineyards. Beautiful large swimming pool and all privacy, wonderfully quiet. Very friendly hosts Badger and Mandie! Given the location, you do need a car to visit all the attractions in the area. Fresh baguette provided every morning by Badger. The house was sparkling clean, well equipped and you received a welcome package of food for the first day, and cognac! Highly recommended this house partly thanks to the swimming pool and the very friendly hosts.

Absolutely amazing stay with Marie and Frank. Not often we get the opportunity to do nothing but the chateau and its surroundings make this possible. We spent couple of days at the lovely pool which we had to ourselves. The accommodation is beautiful, clean and there’s everything you need there including pool towels. Marie is so lovely and friendly and Franks wine tasting is brilliant we learned so much. We took away some fine wines! The supermarket and Patisserie is a few moments away and we got things for BBQ one night..Frank had everything ready for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay at the chateau again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a peaceful place to stay to recharge batteries Hope you’re feeling better Domino we love you and Bruno ❤️xxx
