Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Tremblade

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Very well arranged space with the necessary accessories to be like at home. Quiet & peaceful place. Sébastien is very responsive and gives good advice for activities. The only small negative point (which would not be for everyone); at sunrise, a lot of light from the front door, maybe a small thing to improve otherwise it's great. I recommend it and if we come back to the area, we will not fail to come back ☺️

Very nice house, clean, functional and well-equipped for 8 people. The children's space on the mezzanine is very nice. The exterior is very quiet and soothing. Thanks to Jeremy for his welcome, his advice and his availability if needed.

We had a great stay in this pleasant, clean and very well maintained apartment. When we arrived, the accommodation was perfectly clean, well ventilated and it smelled very good. The place is easy to access, secure and easy to find. The location is ideal, with many activities nearby: beach, zoo, restaurants, etc. The host was very responsive and available, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Only small downside: the environment can sometimes be a little noisy depending on the time of day. I highly recommend this apartment for a comfortable and well-located stay!

This is the second time I've come to Valerie's place and it's always a pleasure to stay there. I came to a horse show at the Royan equestrian center. The accommodation is very well located: 8 min from the competition. I think that being able to arrive independently in the accommodation is a great advantage, especially when you don't know your arrival time. The parking space is right at the entrance of the accommodation, which is very convenient. The sofa bed where we sleep is very good. I slept very well there. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless! It has everything you need to spend a few quiet days. I will come back without hesitation!:)

A very central and comfortable apartment on the first floor. The location at the market and close to good coffee shops and restaurants is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, a nice shower and use of a plug in fan for hot evenings. The second bedroom is smaller but we didn’t use this. Baby facilities of a cot, changing table etc also very useful. Thank you Clotilde!

Nothing to say about the accommodation and the relationship with Adeline. Very nice little house, which has everything you need, the place is quiet. Adeline puts her guests at ease by trying to plan everything in advance (especially to prepare a bed for a child) and is responsive. We recommend!

We had a most pleasant stay in Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their superb terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet. We rented Vandy's apartment for the weekend. It was perfect. The instructions were clear and detailed, making it easy to find the access point. The apartment was large and functional, close to everything A private parking space is really a significant plus We'll be back for a future stay, that's for sure.

A very well-guided arrival. The accommodation is ideally located in the city center of Les Mathes, with many restaurants, shops, and the market (Wednesday and Sunday) a few steps away. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, and contains everything you need to have a good stay. My two-year-old daughter and I really enjoyed the place. The balcony is a real plus! The underground parking is very convenient and allows you to leave the car safely. We did everything on foot: bike rental, ice cream, beach, etc. The city center is also a fairly lively neighborhood, early in the morning and late at night, depending on the influence. A very nice and pleasant stay, thank you again!
