Amazing things: -Little countertop/stools in bedroom! -Coffee grounds, filters, & creamers! -Great water pressure in shower -Large bath towels -Drawer of cords beside bed! -Style of house was very cute -Body wash and shampoo -Very clean! -Easy checkout Didn’t love: -Fan clinging -Fridge making continual noises -Hot water ran out before the end of the shower -Being in a duplex with someone we didn’t know, in a pretty remote location

Stay in a renovated piece of history in the heart of Walsenburg. Very quiet and I loved the welcoming committee of Robert's cats, the evening deer and the bird watching. Also there is a great view of the Spanish Peaks and sunset from the kitchen! I would definitely stay here again!

Dave and Norma’s place is better than the photos, which are completely accurate. The views are breathtaking and the quiet, peaceful setting was a welcome retreat from the daily rush of life. They were very respectful of my privacy and it was easy to forget that they even live on the property. The gazebo was lovely for early morning coffee while watching the deer graze. Hands down 10/10.

Clean, comfortable, cozy -- this house was the perfect home base for my family of three as we visited friends in Forbes Park, went up to Colorado Springs to visit Garden of the Gods and Cave of the Winds, and explored the town of La Veta. We loved being in walking distance to a market and other shops, stopped in the town's library, and had fun visiting the local Francisco Fort Museum. The house had everything we needed and was well-maintained inside and out, with a nice mountain view from the front porch. Brandi was a friendly, responsive host and provided clear instructions. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home and would happily stay here again!
